Wouldn’t really recommend, the rooms are bleak and you’re sharing toilets w a whole floor. The other building is more social. The family dinner was tiny but the activities are fun!

There are cockroaches everywhere!! Do not recommend staying here unless enjoy sharing your room with cockroaches!

Cockroaches all over the building at night, and they sneak into the rooms. I spotted a massive cockroach on my pillow when I was going to bed, which was pretty disgusting. This place needs urgent bug spraying.

i stayed in the 3bed en-suite dorm, which was not cleaned until my 4th day… my lower bunk had a huge huge dent in the mattress, which was so uncomfortable. the beds are made of metal & have no curtains sadly. it’s a party hostel, but my previous experiences with party hostels were a lot betteri liked the staff, they were super helpful and kind, but the only conversations I had with the reps were focussed on drinking or getting me to participate in a (payed) activity, which felt a bit odd. didn’t like the overall vibe in this hostel.the free family dinner is nice, i liked the snorkeling trip they offer for 200k, and the eve activities were nice (bc of the other backpackers….) but i wouldn’t stay here again.

The worst rooms of the entire trip. Horrible beds. The dirty room. The smelly bathroom. They didn't clean even one day.The beautiful pool.There is a party at Gili Castle 1 but you can enter without staying at the hotel.

Bit of weird vibe for a hostel, I get the whole party aesthetic of Gili T but the staff here were so bizarre and constantly offering to get us drugs and asking us to go to the beach with them at night. Me and my friend had booked to be together in a room and upon arrival we were separated. The rooms are fine but sort of prison style and I get that you get what you pay for in hostels - but this is on the pricier end of hostels in Indonesia. We weren’t offered any towels and the bed cover was honestly the size of a tea towel and did not keep you warm or covered at all. I felt like we spent most of our time avoiding the staff & regretting our choice of hostel. If you are 24+ honestly book somewhere else as this hostel is full of 18 year olds on their gap year who would come back at 2am coughing their lungs out from vaping and taking selfies with flash in a shared dorm. Only thing I can say is the cats that live here are adorable.
