The room is not well insulated, in addition to all the noise that is heard (especially from the mosque every night), animals such as rats or quite large gekkos can enter.I am writing this review while we cannot sleep because the rat walks all over the ceiling of the room and comes back in again and again... at first a couple of guys from the reception came to help us trying to scare them away but then another one came back in time...It is not the only evaluation that I read on other platforms where they report on the same problem... it must also be added that the power has gone out several times during our stay and that the Wifi is not working well... simply embarrassing...

We booked three nights and ended up extending. You’re super close to everything with excellent bars, cafes, restaurants and experiences nearby. A lovely laid back vibe and the actual rooms are really big and spacious. We also oils highly recommend, especially since it’s so affordable!

Awesome bungalows located in the great area, away from Gili buzz where you can relax and enjoy your stay. Tofik is a great host with super nice smile :) Highly recommend!

Nice staff, tried to please in everything. The location is also good. The room was clean. I lower the rating for the fact that they were not cleaned, poor lighting. It would not hurt to update the furniture and add coolant to the air conditioner

When I came to Gili Air, I figured I’d stay for maybe two nights, which is certainly doable given its quaint size. However.. the people, quality of the accommodation, and super chilled out vibe of this place led me to extend my stay by seven nights! Karazi is incredibly kind and is always there greeting you with a smile and is willing to help with anything. ZzZ Warung across the street led me to meet some of the most friendly, kindhearted and cheery people i’ve ever met; Wan, Omi, Noval and many others made my stay on Gili Air what it was — the best. My first night there I was welcomed with guitar, singing, lombok coffee, seashell bracelet making, and a big family style dinner all together as the night wound down.. This became a nightly ritual. Never have I ever immediately felt so enveloped in a community of warmth and friendliness as a solo female traveler. In terms of Kelapa itself, the value for money is incredible; beds are huge, AC works great, outdoor bathrooms are amazing, and the location is optimal — super close to north side best side beach. I will for certain be back — thanks guys for everything

Bungalows look pretty nice, but close up you'll see and experience that maintenance and cleanliness is lacking! Bathroom was very dirty and literally everything leaked. Bed extremely noisy, so you hear your every movement, including your neighbors'.Friendly young guy at the reception doing everything in his power to help you, but unfortunately language is a hassle and somehow he reminded me of Dory from Finding Nemo. So getting our bathroom cleaned proved to be impossible and sometimes ordering breakfast can be quite an adventure, but if you're not too picky on what you end up with you'll be fine in the end.Location is excellent, just a couple minutes walk to the north beach which turned out to be my favourite, and two good and cheap warungs around the corner. Especially zZz Warung but do try the murtabak at their left-side neighbor.

Bungalows not very clean. Beds very hard, shower hardly worked.Breakfast not great. Very noisy location. Location to beach is good but to be honest most places aren't far from the beach. I would not recommend this as a place to stay.
