I recently stayed at Vamana Resort on Gili Trawangan, and it was a fantastic experience overall, especially considering the value for money. The resort is located in a peaceful spot on the island, offering a super relaxed atmosphere with its own “private” beach area. While the beach isn’t technically private, it feels very secluded, giving you a sense of tranquility and space, which is perfect for unwinding. Whether you want to relax with a book or take a dip in the ocean, the beach vibe is ideal for a laid-back getaway.The service at Vamana is excellent—the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always available to help with any requests. They really go out of their way to make you feel at home, and this level of hospitality really enhances the experience. The breakfast and snacks are quite good, with a nice selection of both Western and Indonesian options. Everything was fresh, and I particularly enjoyed the local dishes offered in the morning.However, one thing to note is the mosquitoes. Being on a tropical island, mosquitoes are inevitable, so make sure you come prepared with repellent or other precautions. While they didn’t detract too much from the overall experience, it’s something to keep in mind. All in all, Vamana Resort offers a great balance between affordability, comfort, and a welcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for a relaxing stay on Gili T with excellent service, this is a solid choice.

We had a great stay here, the staff are amazing, Dewa and Yusuf made our stay so good and were always helpful. Rooms are clean and the best is the close proximity to the turtle beach, we saw many turtles!

We had a great stay at the Vamana Hotel. The location is ideal, right in front of the most beautiful snorkeling spot on the island. The hotel is simple but clean, with a private beach, deckchairs and a very nice swimming pool. A huge thank you to Jackie, the director, for his exceptional welcome and his special attention. Thanks to him, we also booked a great snorkeling excursion around the islands. I highly recommend this hotel for its warm atmosphere and attentive staff.

I stayed at Vamana Resort for 5 days and 4 nights.Since there were 2 adults and 1 child, we requested an extra bed, and the friendly staff brought an extra mattress and installed it for us (additional charge required).Close to the boat dockIt is also close to downtown Gili Island.There is also a convenience store right next to the accommodation.Take a carriage ride at the boat dockAll it takes is 100,000 rupees.Separate toilet in the roomThere is a separate shower room and the air conditioner is Samsung so there is no problem.There is a decent-sized swimming pool within the resort.Other guests didn't use it very often.We used it often.Breakfast is not very good, but if you ask the staff,They make scrambled eggs or fried eggs.It's very delicious.On the sea in front of the resortThere is a sunbed that guests staying at Vamana Resort can use for free, and towels can be brought from the resort.It is convenient to useThe staff are very friendly.Laundry service is provided at the resort.A separate cost is required.There is free wifiThere is a temple near the boat dock.The downtown area is noisy.There is no sound at all here.Very quiet.Every day, the staff cleans the room, empties the trash can, and replaces all towels.

The hotel is located infront of the turtle point. We saw the turtle everyday. It was a good experience. You can rent a bicycle 50,000k per day. The staff Yousoup is so nice and friendly. We will visit again soon.The downside is that you can't change the shower filter because it's a sunflower faucet, but it's good value for money, the location is good, and the staff are friendly to Koreans! It's a great location to go out to the port and to the beach club on the west side. The private beach is free for guests, so I snorkeled and saw turtles throughout my stay. This is a cost-effective hotel.

The room was basically OK and equipped with the most important things. However, you can hear the neighbors very well (especially from outside). What I personally didn't like was that the back of the bed was made of fabric (for hygiene reasons). The room is also very dark because it doesn't have any real windows, just a glass front through which not much light came through. However, the staff is very friendly and helpful! And the location is also great, about 15 minutes from the harbor, right at Turtlepoint and close to many restaurants/bars.

Great resort in a perfect location if you want to get to the main street or the other coast for sunset.Top service from the managers and a small beach reserved for customers with towel service.The pool is also very nice.

I chose this resort because I wanted to see turtles while relaxing on a private beach. There were some things I was a little worried about after reading the reviews, but it was much better than I expected.First of all, thank you for the kindness of the staff. In particular, Yushyun with a bright smile who checked on us without any inconvenience, both during breakfast and on the beach? Are you sorry? Ah... I can't remember the name, unfortunately, but I'm especially grateful to that staff member.Location_A walking distance from the port. You can see turtles in the nearby sea. You can also take a walk to the northern beach.Breakfast_ It's almost the same simple food for 3 days, but the nasi goreng and mee goreng taste isn't bad.Room_ It's spacious, clean, bug-free, and cleaned every day. It's nice and cool. The shower filter cannot be replaced with a sunflower filter. The downside is that the water pressure is weak. And the best drawback is... I almost suffocated from the cigarette smoke coming from the room next to me.This... I didn't tell the staff because I didn't think they could solve it, but it was extremely painful for 3 days.Everything was good except the smell of cigarettes. The entrance to the room is also charming, and the staff always smiles and asks how you are doing. It was also great for an introverted couple like us.If I come to Gili again, I want to visit Vamana again.

My go-to place to stay in Gili T, the staff are amazing, the rooms are great value for the price, and the best part is the beach attached to vamana typically has a turtle just 5-10 meters into the water, grazing on sea grass!

Having traveled SEA for 5 months, this was the place I found hardest to leave. It felt like HOME; all thanks to the guys working here ❤️ Somehow we ended up staying here for 6 days - such a chill and happy vibe 😃I’ve rarely encountered people who shared so much of them self with me, made me laugh, taught me a lot - showed me pure kindness and made me smile every day.They all have a special place in my heart and I will leave Indonesia much richer 🥰The room was huge and everything was neat and clean 😃I really enjoyed the breakfast as well! Always fresh juice, fruit, different warm dish (never bland - the chef knows how to season 😍) and by request you could choose a variety of fresh eggs and yummi banana pancakes 😁No doubt in my mind; if I ever return to Gili T - this will be my home.I am so gratefull 🙏My best wishes to the guys at Wamana and thank you 🥰❤️🙏☺️😘Say hi to Blackie from me 😃
