As of now there is a construction ongoing behind the rooms, so you get awake at 5AM by the workers, which is not the fault of the place.The rooms are not in the best shape, wobbly toilet, squeaky bed, not a single chair, which might be acceptable considering the low price. What was unacceptable for us, is the dirt all over the place, the bedsheet and pillows with stains, wall mouldy, fridge was disgusting, check the photos. The smell around the pool is intolerable,no wonder nobody wanted to get inside.The staff is smiling, they try their best, but we decided to leave after a night.Based on the older reviews, the place was amazing in the past, but now we would recommend to avoid it, until it gets a renovation and a proper cleaning. What a pity!The beachfront view is breathtaking!

Restaurant with truly excellent Italian cuisine, it was a nice surprise. We had dinner there for 4 evenings with gnocchi with burrata, fettuccine with meat sauce, delicious lobster pasta, garlic prawns and spaghetti with clams. Friendly staff, recommended 🙃

Review about the restaurant. Every time on Gili we went to this restaurant, enjoyed delicious pasta, all the dishes were amazing. But now we are back and it feels like we are in a different establishment. The menu has changed, and with it the quality of the food. The pasta was not tasty, the squid was overcooked and was impossible to eat. The wine is very bad, there is almost no choice. We were very upset, this was our favorite restaurant on Gili. We assume that the owner has changed. Previously, the restaurant and hotel were run by a nice couple of Italians, but now we haven’t seen them, and everything has changed beyond recognition ((

From the get go unbelievably kind went above and beyond for us couldn’t recommend this host more. Rooms cleaned everyday and if we wanted to go to the beach they kept us beds and made sure we the best seat in the house. Laundry done and bicycles received on request too. You need to stay here !!!
