Mango tree house

The room is simple but spacious and functional, I personally was not disturbed by the noise of the calls to prayer despite the proximity. The breakfasts were very good. You can ask the staff directly to do your machine and they will take care of everything and leave your clean clothes in your room, it's very practical. I recommend this place which, although being in the center, remains very quiet 😊

Came without any expectations to this Island but the Mango tree house gave me such a warm welcome. Felt comfortable from the very first second.They have small cozy private room with comfy beds. Not much space for lugagges but for few days its managable. They belong to Jungalow hostel which is just 1min away in same road where you can use the pool and order fresh, healthy and safe food. Especially as a pure veg Person it was good to have a safe food place. Cant complaint about anything. The mosque you Hardly hear. Its a quiet place... Just the chickens are very active and every now and then a Mango banged the roof. Its deffo a safe place for solo travellers. I also rented their bicycles and made a sunset snorkel Trip. Highly recommended! Thanks Mango Tree for the beautiful stay.

The location of Mango Three House is really excellent, just a few minutes walk from the port. As soon as we arrived the hosts seemed very kind, even though it appeared we had only booked two rooms; situation sorted out almost immediately. Upon our arrival the rooms were clean although quite bare, no place to put clothes, and a decidedly minimal bathroom, so far nothing strange for being on the other side of the world. We rented 5 bikes, and went for a tour of the island, we left the bikes on the seafront, all locked with the padlocks provided by the structure. On our return one of the bikes had been stolen. Upon your arrival, the hosts will tell you that the island is very safe and that there is no period of theft, don't trust them, even if the bikes were locked they still stole them. When we told them what had happened they treated us with distrust, insinuating that the bike had been stolen because WE had left it unlocked. Which is absolutely false. We tried to look for the bike but no trace. In the end they made us pay for the bike as new, telling us that they are just an intermediary, that they don't just give the bikes to their guests, but they said that the real owner of the bike wasn't interested in talking to us, that the bike had to be paid for and that was it and they wanted the money in cash! We are good but not stupid, so we said we would only pay by card to have the transaction traceable, and in the end we paid €170 (note it if this happens to you so you don't have to pay more). The rooms were never cleaned, only the bed was made. Towels never changed, after two washes they smell of mold; on the last night one room was unusable because of cockroaches, obviously they didn't give us another one saying that it was all full, and we had to sleep three in one room.Positive notes, organization of the snorkeling trip, and the family dinner, organized together with other kids from their hostel for a pleasant dinner in company. Last but not least, there is no hot water in the shower. Which isn't a big problem, but it should be written at the time of booking, but when you ask for explanations they tell you that it's like this in the Gili, that there is only hot water in hotels; sometimes the water didn't even flow.

Not ideal rooms, very small and bathrooms were not clean

A beautiful stay for your trip to Gili Trawangan. As we leave, I almost feel bad for forgetting to tip Anton and his staff boys who were more than gracious and kind to look after us and create amazing evenings for us everyday. The hospitality and kindness is unmatched!

We had an amazing time at Mangotree House. The rooms were clean and big enough. The staff is super friendly and we were able to sing and laugh with them every evening. We had an unforgettable time there. The location is also great, close to the sea and yet not on the party mile. We recommend!

If you go to Gili T this is the perfect place to stay! Only a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms are very clean and cozy. The staff is sooo kind, always friendly and caring.The best about this location….they have evening jamming sessions :)Special thanks to Anthon for being available all the time and helping whenever I needed help. You are amazing.If I could give 10 stars, I definitely would!!!

I loved my 5 days in Gili T at the mango tree house ! Amazing staff, Anthon you’re the best ;)Caring, proposing a lot of services and true guidance. Loved the vibe.The commodities were nice and the hotel is at 10/15min by feet from the beach and 2min by bike.
