A little late on the review but I forgot.“Great Value”I enjoyed my stay here. I stayed here 3 weeks ago and now I’m back in Gili T. The room was nice and the staff with amazing. I enjoyed my many conversations at the bar with Aaron and Ani. Great people. The location is awesome and you're in a great spot for sunsets and only a 10-12 min bicycle ride from all the main bars for nightlife. There is also a bicycle rental next door. Highly recommend. Kudos to the owner for a great setup. I will definitely visit the bar during my 1 month stay.

We just completed our open water dive course at Lutwala Dive. It was rhe greatest experience ever and our instructor Mr M was amazing. Very professional and patient. He made the whole experience that much better. I'll definitely be back!!!

Rooms with very little light. Little or no maintenance in general. Poor breakfast and little variety. Neglected facilities. The pool was dirty all 3 days of our stay. We don't use it.The only good thing is that it is located in a quiet area and has the beach in front.The price we paid is far above what it is really worth.

After a month traveling in the area, this place was my least favorite. I booked it based on other reviews, but my experience was mediocre.Our room had a faint smell of cat pee, the bathroom had an exterior door where diving instructors would hang out in the mornings, we would hear the Americsn managers yell at employees, we chose not to swim in the pools because we saw multiple people wash goat poop off in the pool water, we’d have to tell workers the breakfast bar needed to be restocked, etc.Additionally, I saw diving instructors chat with women at the restaurant who obviously felt uncomfortable by their advances.I’m sure the diving is great! And I understand my bias - but I’m allowed to have an opinion, especially after traveling around and staying at better places that were the same or less priced.**adding that the managers respond in a very catty way. I did hear staff being yelled at behind closed doors, I did witness people cleaning their poop feet in the pool, the buffets were empty half the days of my stay - telling a customer these these didn’t happen is offensive. I did witness a woman leaving shortly after being talked to by a staff member (I believe it was a diving instructor, they were a white dude).Also, I was not informed about the circumstances of the room. I take responsibility for assuming the room would be like the others.Additionally, I did not pay a discounted rate. I just reviewed and I paid the same rate as listed for the bungalows on their website. I did not pay a discounted rate as they responded.

I would not stay here again, we were in another before and we liked it much better for a better price.The room was fine, until you entered the bathroom. Bad smell, everything rusty and the shower without pressure. The sink and toilet leak water.They told us that laundry was included and when we left they charged us for it.Breakfast.... Without further ado, very poor.The most expensive snorkeling goggles than anywhere, after staying here for a fairly high amount of money.Not to mention just the bad, the clothes smell great and we love Gisele and all the animals that live here

Had some great dives at shark Point, halik reef and Turbo :)Saw almost everything on just one dive: turtles, Sharks, Moraine, lobster, eals and plenty of colorful Fish and corals.Great and very friendly staff.Always again 🤙🏼

Our family of four went diving with the crew of Lutwala Dive, and the experience was just stellar. Everyone's super friendly, genuinely nice and kind, and highly professional. We took four fun dives (Halik, Bounty wreck, Shark point, and Meno wall) over two days. We felt safe at every step of our dives, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Special thanks to Am and Itchy, our dive instructors, for taking such good care of us. The Lutwala boat is spacious, and the organization on board is super smooth. The crew is wonderful, attentive to every detail while remaining super laid back. The dive center is directly on the beach, and every dive ends back there: plenty of time to chill, enjoy the good food, and the welcoming atmosphere. We've been to several similar places since the beginning of our vacation, feel lucky because we only have good things to say about them all, yet Lutwala is hands down the best.

We did 2 magnificent dives with Lutwala. The equipment is of good quality, the supervision is very reassuring which makes diving even more enjoyable despite our experience.
