A fantastic stay by the lake, with your own swimming area. We changed our accommodation and moved here as we were looking for a more relaxing place. Everything was much quieter and still central. PapaHisar and Mama Evi were super helpful, whether we wanted a massage, wanted our laundry done or needed a driver to get to our next stop. Mama Evi also prepared fantastic Batak style food for us and looked after us for our onward journey. You felt like you were part of the family.

You can stay in modern or traditional accommodation for a range of budgets. Nice owners. Beautiful lakeside garden. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

It was hard to leave this beautiful and peaceful place... We shared a fantastic time and good laughs with Mama and Papa Hisar who also took us for a tour on the islandThe boat from Parapat took us directly on the guest house door step

Magnificent place, you can swim directly in the lake. Simple but authentic as we like it. The hosts are just extraordinary, human and always ready to lend a hand to organize the rest of your trip. Hizar took us around the island to discover museums and fantastic panoramas. Thank you for this unforgettable and completely improvised evening playing guitar and singing together! We will keep precious memories of our time at Lake Tobas! Horas!
