We stayed at OKU for one night as part of a Bromo & Ijen tour.Overall service was great, staff were friendly and helpful during our short stay. I will review the restaurant and guest house separately.Review for restaurant:- we were pleasantly surprised to be able to get vegan options quite easily at OKU. They had a vegan breakfast option and were able to modify dishes to make them vegan. Staff understood what we meant by vegan and were helpful in suggesting options for us.- outdoor seating area was very nice- portions could be a bit biggerReview for guest house:- the room was overall comfortable and well equipped. However we did find mold and stains in the bed sheets and pillows. We were only sleeping for a few hours due to our Ijen tour so we could tolerate this.- the shelf in the shower (plastic stick on) was quite grimy and dirty. These are easy and cheap to clean/replace so no reason for it to be dirty.- no toilet paper provided- other than this the room was decent, a/c worked well and felt comfortable.Fine for one night, but mold issues would be concerning for longer stays.

This hotel didn't feel very comfortable to me. The environment was not clean. There were no slippers or toothbrushes. The bathroom was large, but the bedroom was very small. The water temperature in the shower was either high or low. At least the service and food were okay. Yes, but overall a low score.This hotel didn't feel very comfortable to me. Hiii... haven't visited OKU yet... well don't miss it... at OKU there is Gues House and Cafe... enjoy the service and the comfortable cafe of course... definitely come back 🥰

Disgusting!Our room shets where so dirty and even our towelsFull of mold and dirty spots. We don't even know what it was.The beds weren't fresh made. Someone slept in it for sure.We booked with a tour and we didn't had luck with this tour from the start. So we where tired of telling again that the room is to cheap for what we paid....We slept in our own sleeping bag.The breakfast was a jokeWe went on the vulcano tour and when we came back they give us a cold sandwich and my partner got something we don't even know what you want to call it.No free tea or caffee like in every other accommodation!And no toilet paper
