What a particularly beautiful and hospitable location! The guesthouse was built by a Dutchman and this is reflected in many details. Aris, the manager is a very nice man. He took all the time for us. Dinner was made by his wife. Wonderful… The rooms are also really great. You feel the romance. And then the view of the garden! I think the photos say enough. If you are traveling in Java, it is definitely worth a visit!

We spent 1 night in transit. We had been on holiday in Indonesia for a while now. The location is beautifully situated on a river. The garden is really beautiful and the swimming pool is lovely. Because it is owned by Dutch people, we sometimes thought it was a bit too organized. And at times less hospitable. We thought breakfast until 9am and checkout at 10am was a bit early. The on-site manager (Aris) is nice but a bit stiff. We missed the Indonesian hospitality and relaxedness that we had come into contact with in recent weeks. We also found it a bit strange to present the bill the evening before departure without asking if we wanted something to drink. The stay was not unpleasant for a moment, but next time we would choose something else. Especially in combination with the price. We found the 'employed' employees, such as gardener Arman, but also Aris' wife, to be very nice.

We were here in September. We booked an overnight stay here at our own expense because we were not satisfied with the hotel we stayed in. That was definitely worth it.Rumah Dharma is simply a beautiful hotel. An intimate and quiet accommodation where the rooms are tastefully decorated. They all have an outdoor terrace with a view over the green garden. The owners and staff were very friendly and genuinely committed to providing us with a great experience. All in all, a great location if you want to explore this part of Java.

In Rumah Samang you will find an intimate accommodation. It immediately shows the rooms are tastefully decorated. All have an outside patio looking over the green garden. Rumah Sanangs’ owners and staff are very friendly and genuinely driven to provide a wonderful experience. We 100% recommend rumah Sanang.

We had a really nice stay! The hotel has a beautiful garden area and we got really good Food prepared. Everyone was really helpful and nice, we would love to come back! The rooms were super clean and really big, the area is quiet and nice. We did a plantage tour which was really, really interesting and organised by the Rumah Senang Crew! We could visit a rubber farm and See the production steps. We were able to try the coffee, see how the different coffee plants, cacao and spices are grown. The region is definitely worth a trip. We didn‘t have enough time to discover everything and will come back for sure!

If you want to get to know East Java, this Guesthouse is perfect. The surroundings are beautiful. The guesthouse itself is a wonderful oasis of peace. There is a lovely swimming pool and a well-maintained garden. But what really makes the stay great are the people who work there. Aris can arrange transport as well as fun excursions. Lisa provides delicious food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I would say, be surprised. The rest of the staff is also very nice and helpful. Highly recommended!

Very nice place! Very sweet and friendly staff who also cook delicious food for you. Spacious bedrooms, don't expect too much luxury, but a beautiful, quiet place with a lovely swimming pool.
