The bathroom was not very clean, there was no paper, much less soap. The rooms only have one window that faces the interior of the building. The bathroom has no ventilation. The staff was friendly and gave us paper when we requested it. The location is good.

First of all, I have to say that the price-performance ratio of the hotel is absolutely fine. The shower was okay but sometimes relatively cold.One night at around 3:00 a.m. other hotel guests were incredibly loud and didn't turn down the volume even when asked. Of course that's not the hotel's fault.What was absolutely not okay, however, was the scooter that the hotel rented to us. On the one hand, the price was already above average and on the other hand, the condition of the scooter was absolutely catastrophic.We also told the owner that we wanted to borrow the scooter so that the two of us could ride it up the Ijen. However, the scooter's performance was far too weak to drive up the Ijen. Every now and then we had to get off and push until a few friendly locals picked one of us up on their scooters.But the worst thing, as already mentioned, was the condition of the scooter. When we were driving down the Ijen, the brakes suddenly failed, so we had to brake with our feet and just came to a stop. This of course made our return journey very dangerous and took much longer than planned.As I said, you can book the hotel without hesitation, but I would strongly advise against renting a scooter.
