Peter welcomes you very warmly. We hear the mosques around but that will be part of your trip to Java.The park and the swimming pool are magnificent.Don't hesitate to talk to Peter, he will give you advice for the rest of your trip to Indonesia.

Definitely book, the owner's tip was to book directly with him, this was even cheaper! Great location, good food, good drinks and very hospitable! Using earplugs for the mosque was a tip but not necessary.

Paradise! Unfortunately we only stayed 1 night because we were going on a turtle tour, but we would have loved to stay longer! What a beautiful garden and there are only a few rooms so lots of space and tranquility. Nice swimming pool and good food, so I highly recommend staying here.

After a long round trip through Java, we arrived at our last accommodation before the crossing to Bali. Once we arrived, Peter would "explain it all". it is steaming hot and there are no air conditioners in the rooms, making it difficult to fall asleep.Once you fall asleep with the fan over your bed, you wake up with a sore throat. Bring noise cancelling earplugs, the accommodation is surrounded by mosques due to morning prayers. The rooms are in fact open at the top of the window with screens, so you can hear everything very well. The food was good though and the staff were very sweet. All in all a night to remember. But what do you expect for such an amount. Is it the fault of the accommodation or the travel agency?

Super nice and clean facility, team is very friendly and helpful. However, Kalibaru is a village and there isn't that much to do on site. Various However, tours can be booked at the guesthouse. However, the next time I visit Java I would no longer plan a tour to the Ijen Massif from there but from Banyuwagi => saves money (!) + nerves and you then get the full package.Several mosques are nearby. Ear plugs will be provided.

Stayed 2 nights in Rumah kita. Stay was great! Very friendly owner who can give you lots of tips. Beautiful garden/view and a lovely swimming pool. There are 7-8 mosques in the area, which make quite a noise at 4:00 am. Fortunately, there are earplugs in the room, but we did need them and it was doable. Food was great!

We had a wonderful time at Rumah Kita. It's clean and it has a beautiful garden and great swimmingpool. The food they prepare is good, The owner is very friendly. We visited different plantations with him and learned a lot about coffee, cacao, rubber and life in Indonesia. We recommend this place.

What a beautiful place. After a long car journey we arrived in an oasis of peace. Owner Peter received us very kindly and offered us a delicious lunch. The rooms were very pleasant, spacious and clean. There is no air conditioning, but it is not necessary at all because the temperature can be easily regulated. In the evening you can turn on the fan and sleep wonderfully under the covers. Each house has a terrace that faces the beautiful and well-maintained garden. The swimming pool provides the necessary cooling. The food is delicious. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are absolutely fine. We stayed 3 nights and so we still had time for a trip or excursion. Rumah Kita is also the right place for that. In short: highly recommended.

We had a very nice time at Rumah Kita. It is an oasis of peace, except when you hear the mosques. We enjoyed the beautiful garden, the lovely swimming pool and the room with veranda and view of the garden. Host Peter ensures that you will lack nothing.
