Unfortunately for us personally it was the worst experience since we have been in Indonesia. The staff don't speak a word of English, so communication was a bit difficult and there was a misunderstanding. In the end we had to pay more for a whole night even though we didn't sleep there. (only one backpack was there) We wanted to have a clarifying conversation. Unfortunately, the owner treated us very badly, she dealt with us properly and didn't let us finish. The only thing that came from her was “my house- my rules”. We have never experienced a host being so accommodating and speaking to us in such a tone. It was not possible to talk to her normally about it and resolve the misunderstanding in a good manner. We were even locked up and only let out again when she got the money she demanded.Unfortunately for us it was a very negative experience.General information about the accommodation: We stayed here for a week and our room wasn't cleaned once. We had to ask for toilet paper and also whether they could empty the garbage can.The rooms are generally dated and NOT worth the price. There is some mold in the rooms (shower curtain and wall), the drain in the bathroom smells quite strong and the pool is not clean. The lounge is very comfortable, but that's about it.

Awesome place to stay at! Very comfortable beds, great and beautiful garden and common area and an awesome pool make this place great. The owners and the staff are also extremely kind and helpful. I can recommend it 100%!

Serene and cozy. Value for money. Compare to several existing hotel in Waingapu, I recommended this homestay if you ever have an opportunity to visit East Sumba (and you should visit this island 😁)

Ibu Lusi was very attentive, helpful and sweet! Such a serene garden with relaxing in (our experience) the busiest town on the island.
We got many tips from our host and the room service of pc corner was the cherry on top.

Amuya is one of the accommodations in a strategic location.Quite close to the airport, nearest mini market, also city park.The vibe is very calm even though it is close to the road.Fell in love from the first time you entered. Like an oasis in the middle of the hot weather of Waingapu city.Service from the owner to the staff is very friendly.Will come back again to bring the family for a staycation here.❤️

Love from the first sight. The guest house makes me feels like home. Besides the death larons in bathroom and long awaited reply on booking, everything was perfect. Pool nya tidak dingin,makanan ok. 8 rooms only but feels like there's no other guests besides us. No noisy at all even full house. Great service though..

For a home stay, Amuya is the best in Waingapu. It seems the only one that is decent and comfortable. The rooms, services and environment are cool and safe. Guard is also there 24 hours. Always be ready to open and close the gate. The dining room can be used for meetings with 4-5 people. Suitable for those who need a calm meeting atmosphere. Can rent monthly or daily, price can be asked on the contact number.

Stayed for one night. Its a nice little homestay in Waingapu. Staffs were friendly and helpful, check in was easy. Bed was comfy, spacious room. Soap and shampoo were provided.Pool was nice, they have pool towel upon request.Breakfast was nasi soto ayam.
