We stayed 4 Nights. It is a wonderful place with a very welcoming host! Kermi showed us around a lot and was very helpful. This was a such lovely place (with truly great food) which we will keep in mind. We came as guests, leaving as friends! Thank you, Kermi!!!

This time we visited to enjoy the sunset and the beachside restaurant at Villa Watumita Maumere. This location is close to Cafe Cassa Bonelli, after Cafe Cassa Bonelli about 300 m not far. It's located near the corner. It is clearly displayed on the side of the road with the words "Escape" Bar, even the words Villa Watumita look small on the wall. You have to knock on the fence first, then the new employee or owner will open it. The parking space is enough for 2 cars, or you can park on the opposite side of the villa and look for a place near a resident's house. When you enter you can see there is a small circular pool, in the pool there is a shower and a group of ducks are swimming. Towards the villa we pass through a small road with living fences on the left and right sides, the atmosphere looks green. Temporary villas have not been rented out since the Covid-19 pandemic, only at the villa guard's place. What's unique is that there are chickens that are brooding (incubating eggs) next to the villa wall. In front of the villa there is an Escape Bar for enjoying food and drinks, there is a gazebo and steps to enjoy when the sea water is high. On the left side there is also a kind of lopo/gazebo but it is not as wide as the right side. We have been here twice but found that the sea water was at high tide, but we could still enjoy soaking with a short walk along the coral. The view is good, enjoy the sunset view and sea view with rows of hills. At that time we ordered Sour Sauce because it was suitable to be enjoyed in drizzly weather conditions. We were served in a friendly manner, it was also seen that there were other visitors who were also having fun taking photos and taking selfies.
