Everything is great! Apparently something has happened when I look at the comments from 5 years ago. The rooms are very clean and large, it has a large closet that you can open with a personal card (deposit 10k). Four toilets with showers, cool terrace, breakfast for 25k is okay, location is great.

We booked a full day trip on a speed boat (1.3 millions RP per person) with Happy Komodo to visit the islands. Nobody showed up in the morning and we had to wake up someone at the hotel who informed us that we had to go to the Harbour by ourselves. Then after 2.5 hours of waiting for a boat, they told us that they did not book any boat for us and the other people with us... We had to fight hard to get our money back and we lost the day.Avoid this agency!

Hostel with few pretensions and not very clean. However, good service for the modest price and the Italian owner is friendly. You can ask him for tips on excursions.

Rude “welcome”, tragic communal space and unsanitary bathrooms. Having a shower made you feel dirtier, not cleaner! The only positive is it’s central location for booking tours and to the harbour. Avoid staying here at all costs.

I had a great time at the Happy Komodo Hostel. We became good friends and they helped out with a lot of things. They arranged a boat trip to the Komodo Islands and everyhing was perfect; delicious food, few people and a chance to fish for squid. Friendly staff too!+ clean rooms, location, prices and friendly staff!- bathrooms and breakfast
