We don't have enough words to describe the EXTRAORDINARY experience we had at 81palms, it was like spending a few days at a friends house...Cote and Julia are incredible, always attentive. The restaurant has Michelin star food, breakfasts, lunches, dinners, all delicious... we can only say thank you and say WE LOVE YOU. SEE YOU SOON.

What an amazing place. If you are looking for the best accommodation on Roti you have found it! The rooms are huge and so unique. The restaurant is the best food you will ever eat made with amazing ingredients and cooked to perfection!You will feel as if you are home when staying here the location is amazing and the sunsets are unreal

Iām only gonna talk about the restaurant as we slept in an other place on the island.After being told 81 palms was the best restaurant around, 5 stars chef etc etc we were very happy to try.We have been there two times. We felt the exact same experience the two times.As the prices are super high and the place is considered a Ā«Ā high end restaurantĀ Ā» my review is made accordingly.Both time when we arrived in the restaurant, there were no one to welcome us nore say hello. We then sat on our own.Both times we chose different things on the menu. Both times is was good, good food but really not what we expected. Specially for the insane price you pay. Many plates are really well presented but almost no flavor and badly balanced. You can find basic tapas same as Spain but at an high price here which is ironic.A part of the staff is really nice and good, other half is really badly trained and a bit pushy. One of the young guy who served us the last time was dressed like a pinguin, short, high sockets and flip flopsā¦I mean come on.Cocktail and wine were excellent.Again the review is in accordance with the prices of the hotel.

Booked for 5 nights, ended up extending another day ;) Amazing family trip. Well set up for families with young ones. Rooms just stunning. Food next level. Julia went ABOVE and beyond to ensure every detail taken care of, even to the last transfer home. Highly recommended.

A 5 star rating is not enough! Our family holiday at 81 Palms is one of the most memorable experiences we will never forget. The photos donāt do it justice, the attention to detail in the accommodation was 10/10. Food was exceptional. The whole booking process and transfers were streamline. This place is an absolute paradise, a dream. Thank you to Julia and Jose for creating heaven on earth. We hope to return again soon.

81 Palms & Next Door is a truly exceptional and magical place. "Mama Julia" and Cote take great care of the resort and it shows! The attention to detail is surprising, the availability and cleanliness wonderful. We stayed in the Next Door bungalows, a little further away from the restaurant and it was a success: absolute silence, with an impressive common space with drinks available 24 hours a day. The restaurant is accessible by the beach (2 minutes) or by motorcycle. The sunsets are incredible. I wish our stay would never end! The breakfasts are dreamlike and the menu is a true gem (thanks Cote!!). There are many peaks (not crowded) to enjoy surfing within 5 minutes by boat or rowing from the hotel. Congratulations Julia & Cote for having created such a wonderful space and for your incredible attention and help. A 10!!!

The 81 Palm is a paradisiacal place decorated with great taste and care in all the details so that the stay is a 10.The tranquility is absolute and it is just a walk along the beach from the boat that takes you to Tilan.The restaurant is incredibly good not only for the food but also for how nice and quiet it is as well as having wonderful views of the sea.It is the second time we have gone and we will surely return.We travel a lot and above all we know Indonesia very well and this place is a 10.In addition, Julia and Cote, its owners, are charming and so is the entire team that works there.If you dare to go, you will surely repeat.

Absolutely marvelous place and service. I enjoyed every minute of my stay. Fantastic location, very beautiful and carefully decorated cabins and superb food. Jose, Julia and their team made me feel like home. If there were more stars, i would give them more. Looking forward to repeat soon!

We just had the most amazing stay at Next Door 81 Palms. The staff are fantastic and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The villa we stayed in was so comfortable and well designed. We loved the outdoor bathroom especially after coming in from a surf. Breakfast was amazing and Jose and Julia are brilliant hosts. A true gem of a place and we canāt wait to return.

Probably one of the best restaurants we've ever been to and definitely the best in the area. From the starter to the dessert, everything was exceptionally good. We were repeat offenders and came here several times during our vacation! If you ever have the chance to eat a chocolate cheesecake here - DO IT!

A true culinary haven not to be missed! We ate there almost every day during our stay, each meal was a treat ! The surroundings are exquisite, the hotel has been design with great taste and the beach view is stunning.Most of all we absolutely loved the staff: professional and so welcoming, they even gave us a free jam jar for my grandmother, she was in heaven !
