Sumba Dream Ecoresort is a heavenly destination that deserves nothing but praise. Every detail is thought of to offer an unforgettable experience. The impeccable service, Blandine is an outstanding cook and host, her super friendly husband Laurent offered us great activities (walks, snorkling and sea fishing, market visits and a very beautiful waterfall). The landscapes, the care taken in the magnificent garden, are breathtaking and the varied activities make it a unique place, without forgetting the magnificent bungalows tastefully furnished like the common areas. 5 stars are not enough to appreciate this heavenly placeThe bungalows are magnificent and very neat, tastefully designed with sea view just a stone's throw from themThe gardens are full of gazebos where you can enjoy a moment of relaxationFantastic beaches as far as the eye can see.Blandine is an outstanding cookAnd a host who is always attentive. Her husband Laurent, super friendly, offered us activities like boat trips with fishing, snorkeling, visits to local markets, walks, waterfalls.....In conclusion, we will come back with great pleasure.Thank you both for making this vacation a unique one.Celine and Gaby

If you are on Sumba, you must stop by and stay here, the rooms are clean, the beach is nice, there are fishing boats that can be rented, the pizza is delicious, the owners Mr.Lorens and Mrs.Lorens are very friendly

This place is heavenly. Blondie and Laurent have created this place with the greatest attention, respecting nature. Everything is sublime, from the design of the bungalows to the vegetation. Blondie's food is excellent and varied. The landscapes of the beach and the mangrove change every day depending on the light. A haven of peace that does not exclude doing activities such as snorkeling, fishing or visiting outdoor places. Just ask. The welcome is warm. We feel like family. Thank you again for all these good times.

Good accommodation for guests, friendly to guests, but less friendly to drivers and guides who accompany guests. I think the guide and driver also need to explain the facilities the hotel has, so that if there are guests who intend to stay at this hotel, we will explain the details. not accepting the driver/guide, telling him to sit down, not being allowed to go anywhere, etc. I think guides and drivers also understand the boundaries between guests and drivers and guides and especially the rooms / bungalows where they stay. Nice little resort, run by a French couple. Private beach, relaxed environment. Good food during breakfast (included), lunch, and dinner.The little huts could be a tad warm as there is some ventilation when you leave the front door open. The fan in the room might not always be effective due to the mosquito net reducing the airflow. There are huts in the property as well that have A/C.The last couple of miles to the resort are across less maintained roads and can take up to 45 minutes from the point you turn off the main road. If you plan to relax at the resort, this will not be an issue. If you are looking to do excursions from the resort, you should factor in the time/effort/comfort in you day trip.
