Perfect rooms, very good breakfast.Udin is also a driver guide with a very spacious and comfortable car without him we would not have been able to visit this beautiful island in its entirety given the narrow and winding roads.Thanks for all π!

I had a lovely stay at Santiagos with the best Omlette I have ever had. The owner, Udin, is a very nice, funny, easy going and helpful guy. I made some trips with him and he drove me safely to Maumere. The room has a very comfortable big bed and it was very clean. One day the bathroom had some issues with the water but it could be fixed:)

Bed and breakfast in downtown Moni, across the entrance of Murundao waterfall. They have four rooms to rent on the second floor, with the plan of expanding on the unfinished third floor. This project seems to start creating leaking issue. In the case of the room we rented, it leaks right on the toilet. So expect occasional drops of water on your head while doing number two business π

The bathroom drainage is also poorly designed, creating unpleasant odor and moldy atmosphere.Room is also located next to the main road, so expect occasional sound of engine revs in the middle of the night.Breakfasts are delicious and come with a cup of strong Manggarai coffee. Pak Udin Toya, the owner, is very kind and helpful. He gave us tips of a walking trek we can take to see Moni from above, to avoid local scammers, to arrange motorbike rent and transportation to Ende.In short, it's affordable and generally clean. And despite the above issue, we really love the strategic location and the warm hospitality of the owner. β€οΈ

The owner was very nice and helped us a lot to organize our onward journey.The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately, the bathroom smelled musty, the water from the shower didn't drain and it was dripping from the ceiling.

Best accommodation on our overland trip so far. 10/10, lovely welcome, breakfast, comfortable beds, good bathroom, plenty of space. Wish we had more time here. Group of 4 friends.

We had a pleasant stay with the UDIN family. The room was very clean, the cleanest of our stay in Flores. The bed was very large and the sheets very nice! I want the same sheets for my house!Udin is a very welcoming person.He offered us tea and coffee when we arrived and we chatted together before getting the room.We were served chicken rice rolls as a snack which were very good. It was a nice touch.We were on scooters and we lacked ropes to tie our bags. Udin gave us 2 tensioners without asking for anything in return.They are a very generous family. The breakfasts were very good. And there are a few restaurants nearby as well as an ATM right next door!thank you again Udin for your kindness. We will not forget you!

The owner of Santiago was such a wonderful generous man. The location was beautiful tucked up high in the jungle hill. All the things we wanted to do, the owner lined up for us to make sure we could get it in our short 3 day stay.

What an amazing time spent here.We slept one night in this Homestay and we had a very good night. Spacious bedroom and bathroom with a very comfortable mattress, perfect after a hike to the Kelimutu volcano.The location is perfect with restaurants nearby, and only 30 minutes from the volcano.The owner will make himself available to you if you need anything. He was able to tell us about other things to do in the area (waterfall and hot spring).We were able to spend a privileged moment in the evening with Udin and his friends to discuss at length about us and our culture, it was very enriching.We would have liked to stay another night but unfortunately the place was fully booked. Udin took matters into his own hands to find us another place to sleep.The next day, we shared a wonderful meal with a friend of his. We will never forget his moments which will forever remain in our hearts. The kindness of udin and his entourage is incredible.If you're looking for a place to socialize with locals, you've come to the right place!Thanks again for everything! ππ»

Super nice accomodation after long and wet driving from bajawa.. We stay for 2 nights here and really enjoy it, clean room, super comfy bed, nice and delicious breakfast.. Udin is really good man, no hasitate to stay in here again if we come again to moni...Ps: udin maybe you should check the waterpump, since it make the flow of the water litle bit weird.. Overall its amazing

We loved our stay here! The place is absolutely clean and has a really high standard. Very comfortable bed and new bathroom with awesome hot shower. The breakfast is great and you have a choice between many delicious dishes.Udin and his family are very welcoming. No matter what we needed or which problem we had, they were helping us with everything. We could rent a motorbike as well and Udin organized the transport to Bajawa for us.Please note: many reviews say that there is WiFi. We did not have WiFi, but this was in the whole town. So there are times when the WiFi is out, because they can only do it with Hotspots.

Udin is the friendly and helpful spirit of this spotlessly clean, comfy guesthouse. We really enjoyed our stay here. The bathroom has an awesome rain showerhead, the bed smells of freshly washed linens and is super big and comfortable. We enjoyed our delicious breakfast (you have several options to choose from) on the sunrise terrace. My one ask to Udin would be: put more than one electric socket into the room. Otherwise perfect!

Santiago is an amazing host and absolutely willing to help out with anything you need, even if it's outside the usual tourist scope. The beds are ridiculously comfortable and the rooms are spotless and free of mosquitoes. Breakfast is tasty too. The wifi is the best in town from what we could see, that said, it isn't incredibly strong by western standards and those who need to work remotely should take that into consideration. My wife and I spent an amazing 2 days here and all in all we were very happy with the place, the service and the value for money

Very good stay at Santiago Bed and Breakfast! We slept very well, the bed was super comfortable. The room was very clean and had hot water! The banana pancakes for breakfast are excellent! The team is very cheerful and pleasant. Just a small downside: the wifi works quite weakly.
