We were here for 2 nights and had the worst stay experience compared to all of Indonesia ( and i have visited remote villages in Java and sumba). The cabins are metal structure and AC was not working. Customer service is too slow and they didn't respond to repeated requests of either fixing the AC or changing the cabin. There is no proper pest/insect control here. All of our stuff is overrun by Ants that too inside the cabin.Better spend your money staying somewhere else. The property is least bothered about guest comfort and even the genuine issues.

I absolutely don't understand these negative reviews about a structure that is beautiful. It is clear that to come to Assunta you need to have your own vehicle to get around and explore so anyone who comes here with a taxi or a transfer is not very intelligent. The location is incredible perched on a hill with a view of the sea and the structure is furnished with taste and style. The staff made up of Sumba guys are extremely friendly and go out of their way to satisfy you. I'll be back
