Amazing homestay, I had a great time here and can absolutely reccommend it. The family are so kind and helpful, which really went a long way helping me plan my trip to make the most of my time. The decor is very warm, cozy and homely - very comfortable and aesthetic. The rooms are very comfortable, good curtains and beds, and the bathrooms were nice and clean. Location is perfect; not far from the train station and many great food spots. I didn't take their Bromo tour (instead drove myself up, can reccommend too!) but I heard great things and they let me store my bag here overnight which was really kind. Thanks for making my time in Malang amazing!

The place is homey and very aesthetic. Prices are also affordable. Separate bathroom and toilet. There are many foreign guests compared to Indonesians. Booking a dormitory room together with other guests was quite uncomfortable because the other guests were quite noisy and liked to close the AC even though there were 6 people in one room and there were no trash windows so it was stuffy, sorry, luckily the staff responded quickly. The location is also quite strategic so it's easy to go anywhere

best dormitory in town 😍very homey, clean, every corner is aesthetic. The guards were so friendly that they gave them cakes, chatted with them, and gave them recommendations for delicious culinary delights in Malang

A lovely hostel and very friendly staff. We were able to relax at the hostel and watch a movie, water refill was available and great facilities. We also booked a 3 day 2 night tour through the hostel which was well organised

Thank you Semeru Hostel Malang for the best 3 days and 2 nights experience exploring East Java . Very much recommended for people who are lazy to plan like me because they have everything planned for you already. All you need to do is just pack your bag and move haha. So glad that all the hostels provided throughout the trip were very comfortable too, car was comfortable enough for all of us, food were also good and all the tour guides provided were so helpful and kind. Thank you so much Semeru Hostel Malang! Will definitely miss everyone who has been involved ♥️

Very friendly staff but we are a little bit disappointed.we booked the room for 2 people, no lock on the door, no AC (was mentioned) but the fan was doing nothing, the room was so hot.Had to rent the towel and paid to leave our bags a night before to go to Bromo, in a secure room. But when we came back they where is the lobby.Good point: the place is really clean, well decorated and the kitchen is a good plus !!And again, really friendly staff
