Small, very recent guest house, each room is in a small wooden house with a small terrace and large bay window overlooking the greenery and the rice fields for optimal rest in nature! The rooms were very clean, the bed very comfortable and above all very nicely decorated. The breakfast was complete and delicious, choice between traditional Balinese dishes and every day new fruits and a Balinese specialty to discover! The staff were lovely! Ari came to pick us up at the airport, I recommend it, it's nicer to chat with Ari than to take a grab and what's more it's cheaper!! Accommodation ideally located between Sidemen and Ubud and scooter rental directly from Ari All these elements make it one of the best accommodations we have stayed in for 2 months in Indonesia!

Experience the true Balinese culture. Ari is a very attentive host, easy to communicate with, and made our stay truly unique. He was helpful in arranging tours, drove us around, and showed us places we wouldn't have found on our own. …

The place is comfortable, quiet and cool in the middle of rice fields, clean, pleasant service, food stalls available, close to several waterfall tourist attractions, basically very suitable for a holiday

This is the most gorgeous and comfortable rural resort I've ever experienced!!!The air con and hot showers work brilliantly, the room is rustic yet super comfortable, and the farm right at the doorstep is gorgeous. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and filling as well. Best of all, the staff are super nice and lent me a scooter for Rp. 100k a day, which was perfect for exploring rural east Bali. This is the best base to explore Semarapura and Sideman for the classical Balinese Kamasan painting and Endek cloth. It's only 15 min away by bike, yet the hotel is super reasonable and comfy compared to options in Semarapura.Best of all, this money goes directly to a local Balinese family. This place is the closest thing most people will experience to life in a real and lived Balinese village.

Small lodges nestled in the middle of rice fields. The setting is as fantastic as it is calming. The manager Ari is very friendly and attentive. The price is more than reasonable, the food is good if you want to eat there, it is possible to rent a scooter... I recommend to visit this part of the island (there are many things to visit around!) and spend a stay in nature and calm. The guest house is located in the middle of rice fields; the whole environment is as peaceful as it is beautiful. The manager Ari is very caring and kind. Food is good, prices are reasonable, it is possible to rent a scooter... Could only recommend if you want to visit this part of Bali (many interesting points around!) and/or spend peaceful holidays.

We had no expectations for our stay in Bakas and now we come back with wonderful memories!Ari is a very friendly, helpful and attentive host who was available to answer any questions we had and was always available for a chat.He organized us scooters and a great cooking class in the village! Thanks to him we were also able to learn a lot about Balinese culture. The rooms are very lovingly furnished (everything you need is there), the view of the fields is fantastic, the breakfast is delicious and the Mie Goreng with tempeh for dinner was excellent! For us it was the perfect quiet, green place. However, you won't get bored there: there are many activities nearby, such as: River rafting, waterfalls, sidemen and the rice fields (Silver Class), coffee and tea tasting, cooking classes. The guesthouse is also suitable for day trips (e.g. Ubud or Nusa Lembongan). The roads around Bakas are great for scootering. If you don't like riding a scooter, you can also book a driver. When Ari has time, he likes to do it himself 😊Thanks for the great time, Ari! 🙏🏼

We initially booked two days with Ari. He picked us up from the ferry and took us to the guest house in the small, beautiful village. At our request, he helped us rent a scooter and plan various activities.Because we liked it so much, we extended our stay with him.We particularly liked that you can do so many activities from the village: beautiful rice fields without tourists, waterfalls, cooking classes and much more!Ari managed to show us the authentic Bali. We are very happy about this experience! Thanks!
