We were staying at a resort 20 minutes away, but came here specifically for the restaurant. And it was more than worth it! Everything on the plate was packed with flavor, from the meat to the vegetables. It is the best Indonesian food we have eaten during our entire holiday!Service was also top notch, we felt very welcome and received excellent help. They also offer cooking classes, unfortunately we didn't have time for that, but if we come to Bali again I will definitely take them!

I have come back to do Chef Santiga’s cooking school a second time and it has only got better. Superb authentic atmosphere. Chef Santiago is very informative and obviously well respected in the community at the market. The food we cooked and ate for lunch was full of flavour and gave us a fantastic insight into Balinese cuisine. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Vila Rossi. This was the only restaurant within walking distance.We are not disappointed, food was delicious.We were the only guests but felt very welcome!If you stay in the area, definitely eat here!

If you order via the application and get 1 room, it's best to forget it...Because I'm like that... I ordered the last room...Finally, when we were put in the lowest room... we were tired of having to go all the way down... the room was very damp, especially the bathroom... The room was narrow and NOT AT ALL AS SHOWN IN THE PHOTO!After that, we paid for the Extra Bed for Rp. 250,000,- DOES NOT INCLUDE MEALS... whereas in even star hotels we order Extra Beds, breakfast is always included... of course so that we buy food at the restaurant there... and the price of food here is VERY EXPENSIVE and unreasonable...Breakfast is just fried rice + sunny side up egg which is VERY NOT worth the price paid...!I thought it might be suitable for Caucasians because it turns out this place belongs to Caucasians... I feel VERY unsuitable...Very Not Recommended

We went for a cooking class with Chef Santika who took us to the fresh market to show us the local products and then taught us the classic Balinese cuisine items such as sambal, Nasi Goreng and Dadar Gulung. We were picked up at our hotel and taken first to visit the market and then back to his hotel were you we cooked in the terrace facing the rice field. He is a great teacher and the food was amazing ! We are vegetarians and we only cooked vegetarian recipes which was truly enjoyable ! A must try if you're in Bali

Santika is a great host and a great cook. I really enjoyed his availability, his advice for cooking Indonesian food and him bringing us to places. The rest of the team is very nice and professional as well, and the massages are great. Loved it.

We visited here only for dinner, which was quite tasty. The interior was nice, too.
I think they should register the hotel and the restaurant separately onto the google map because this amazing warung is not showing up when I search for a resto.

MUST TRY IGA BABI (pork ribs) cooked by Chef Santika! Had the best food and accommodation here! Wrapped up my 10 days Indo trip with Pesantian and appreciate the hospitality of Chef Santika and his family.Bonus: they have two adorable doggos (Mia and Tina) to keep you company hehe

Beautiful, small-scale hotel located outside Ubud with delicious local cuisine. By scooter you can reach Ubud almost quickly and there are beautiful rice fields around Pesantian.

BEST stay in Ubud! We highly recommend to sleep and eat here. Take the suite room, it has a private spacious balcony and the room is amazing. We were planning to stay only a few nights, but we enjoyed this place so much that we extended for days.Santika (manager) and his team make you feel like home. They are super warm and friendly people and their service is excellent. Everything is very well arranged, the rooms are designed with charme, extremely comfortable and clean.The accommodation includes a Warung with high quality food (they also offer cooking classes). The area is perfect: calm vibes, in between the rice fields and local lifestyle. A drive to the centre only takes 15 minutes.Thank you Santika and team for taking care of us! We won’t forget :)

We completed the morning cooking class including a visit to the market to buy the produce, and what an amazing experience!Santika, who is a skilled chef was also an amazing host from staff to finish, even catering to my dietary needs. We cooked about 5 or 6 authentic Indonesian dishes and they were all so incredibly tasty! This was one of the highlights of our recent stay in Bali! You will also leave with a recipe book to recreate when back home - thank you for the authentic and heartfelt experience!
