Stayed here 2 nights... The location is a bit complicated, but the cottage is cute. The room is like a house on stilts, the service is ok... Swimming is allowed at 11pm. But the dog is naughty, hahaha. I like following along, I think I want to go swimming too.

We had a lovely stay. The staff was really helpful, buying tickets and booking taxis for us. There is also a small "redtaurant" in the cottage area, but I did not like the food. The breakfast was poor, but the sunny upside down was delicious. Great if you feel like staying in and realxing but I would recommend to drive for 5' and going into town.The pool is very clean and nice and the staff is taking care of the surroundings everyday.The staff really tries to make everyhthing for us to feel confortable and moved us to another Villa as soon as it was available since ours was next to the chickens and the road and it was very loud. We did not pay for the first night as compensation.Location is okay since you have to drive at least 30' for any attraction, but at least we were not in the busy areas and could relax next to the pool.

Kubu sental cottage is a beautiful, idyllic accommodation where you really see a piece of old Bali. The owner is super sweet and is happy to help. Accommodation is located on a high mountain, so you will have to drive up and down the mountain with a rented scooter (you can arrange this at Kubu). Thanks for the nice days!

Traditional establishment, not very modern, but interesting, if you are looking for tranquility... during the day. In the early morning, dozens of roosters crow and rest is affected. Simple cabins, with a bathroom on the lower floor, but clean and without insects. Breakfast included, but basic.

The airco did it wel, The people were very nice. Breakfast was good enough and if you did not want to visite a restaurant their nassi is perfect.
You need a scooter to visite the rest of the Island but for 100k Roepia a day they arrange it for you.

We stayed there for a day, accommodation was nice and we liked those bungalows on 2 floors!Pool, breakfast and rent a scooter all good.But what I wanted to say is, we booked the ferry for 16:30 through the owners of this accommodation and at the same time we went to see some beaches in the morning.Our ferry and a taxi were booked for the afternoon and the taxi was waiting at 15:30 .We were returning from the beach around 13:00 and the heaviest rain I have seen in my life started. Of course we got stuck and couldn’t move but quite far from the accommodation.We decided to leave as we had to catch the taxi and the ferry later on.My bike stopped working (think water entered somewhere) and my friend went to the owners and told them what happened.They sent taxi to collect us along with our luggage and we made it 10min before the ferry sailed. Not to mention we left the bike somewhere and taxi driver took the keys and returned them to the owner.I can only send our gratitude and highly recommend these nice people to everyone.I am sure in some other place they would take me responsible for the scooter and would miss the ferry and the plane later on.Thank you and thank you again, you left positive experience for us and we wish you all the best.

This hotel is far away from the main road. It is atleast 2 kms away from the main road and 8 kms away from the toya pakeh harbour. From Main road to hotel there is no street light so at night there is a issue for going out for dinner. I wont recommend you stay at this property if your coming with the family. The system of washroom is also very odd as the washroom is in the ground floor and room is upstairs. if you want to go to toilet in the night you have to get down. if you wanna bath you have to get down as it makes little uncomfortable to change clothes. Food is good and the staff too. Swimming pool is the only best part of this hotel. the room was cheap i got it in Rs.3500/- (INR) for 2 nights.

staying at Kubu Sental Cottages was a beautiful experience, the staff were so friendly and welcoming- they were willing to help us with anything we needed such as taxi and scooter rental, making us breakfast and recommending destinations to see on the island. the rooms and pool were stunning, and all at a very reasonable price! a very big thank you for having us and would definitely recommend to anyone travelling ☺️

The staff is great, always smiling, the setting is really beautiful, the rooms are clean, the only negative side is the poor soundproofing of the bungalows but that only bothered us one night out of the 4 we stayed and we can't demand luxury by paying a low price that's why I still leave 5 stars, for the price I find it an excellent option

Rooms are good. The wood and bathroom can use some maintenance but everything else is fine for the price we paid. Very quiet place away from the mainroad. Very friendly staff. We had some miscommunication with the taxi. But I suggest to rent a motorbike at the harbor and use that to get there and back.

A magical place, a little isolated but truly fantastic immersed in the greenery of Nusa Penida in absolute tranquility.The accommodations are very particular, in stilt style raised from the ground with the bedroom on the upper floor and the bathroom on the ground floor.It is a place where you can relax in complete tranquility at very reasonable prices.

I had a wonderful experience at Kubu Sental on Nusa Penida Island in Indonesia. Wayan Astinawati, the owner, and the dedicated staff members Eddie, Gede, and Ngakan, made my stay truly enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable, and I had a restful sleep during my visit. The friendly atmosphere and reasonable pricing were a definite plus, and the accessibility via the road was manageable. Kubu Sental offers great value for your money, making it a fantastic choice for your stay on Nusa Penida Island.
