Rooms are basic but okay, you have everything you need and can use the kitchen to cook your own meals. However, the owner Leo was not helpful, which made our stay rather challenging. Communication was difficult; he would always take hours to reply to our messages. He offered to be our guide and take us to a funeral only to cancel last minute because he suddenly realised he already had a booking with a different client. The alternative guide he introduced to us wanted to charge us more than what we had agreed with Leo; in the end we had to find a replacement guide ourselves, which in peak season was not easy.

The rooms are simply furnished consisting of 2 beds and a shower/toilet in the room. The sheets and blanket are clean and smell fresh. I initially planned to be here for 2 days and extended it to 5 days because there is so much to see.A kitchen with a water dispenser and refrigerator is available for shared use. There are always dishes and coffee/tea.Can really recommend it for a simple but clean stay. I would love to come back, thank you Manu for your extensive explanation and insight into the culture🙏. Price/performance ratio is right.

The room is spacious, clean and very comfortable. It was convenient to be able to use the kitchen and refrigerator.Leo, the owner, welcomed me very warmly and explained the sights and geography of Toraja. A motorbike rental service is also available for guests.I didn't have a motorcycle license and I was traveling alone, so I was worried about how to go sightseeing, but Mr. Leo drove the motorcycle and took me to the main sightseeing spots. . It was a great experience to participate in traditional Toraja funerals and weddings. I had a wonderful time listening to many stories about the history and culture of Toraja. Thank you Leo and everyone in Toraja for your kindness. Recommended accommodation for all backpackers and travelers. I would like to come back someday. The room was large, clean and very comfortable.
