My husband and I wanted a unique experience, so we chose a local yoga place rather than one of the bigger centres mainly run by foreigners.For locals, it operates on a donation basis, which is quite fair. For foreigners it said it’s 100k per class on the site, but we were charged 150k each.Personally, I feel this was overcharging, especially as someone from a developing country.Even for my husband, who is from a developed country, the price was still quite steep.Still, we got to try something new and had a laugh with the locals, who were very friendly and kind.The teacher kept speaking random Japanese, which I thought was because my husband is Japanese, but it didn’t make much sense.We would have liked to give it another go, as the yoga was quite difficult and challenging, but it wasn’t within our budget.

We joined a yoga class ( “pranawayu” )here. The enviornment was not very decent. The mats were not clean and were smelly.The teacher did not sequence the yoga class well and kept on repeating the same phrases during class. He was not able to cater to the needs of different students. He kept on saying Japanese while none of us were from Japan. It was not close to what we expected.Recommend to go to larger yoga studios in Ubud city centre if you are looking for yoga practices.

Women please be careful.Because there is a lot of body touchingIt makes you feel uncomfortable.Clothes that are too revealingAvoid it as much as possible.The lessons are very goodThe actions of the leaders are noticeable.For the woman you likeIt seems to cling to it.
