Beautiful garden guest house located within walking distance towards the south of Ubud city centre. I felt very safe and the staff were kind to me - thank-you for making my stay enjoyable

Perfect location, 5 minutes by walk from the Ubud center. The staff is really welcoming and helpful. Some facilities can be renewed (e.g.shower and beds) but it was absolutely great value for money š

Stayed here for a month and loved every day of it!!! Everyone is extremely friendly and ready to help with any question, its even possible to rent a bike at the property at a very good price which is very convenient. And the location is simply perfect, its close to everything you need yet not noisy.Would definitely recommend to stay at Astawa house!

Overall had an OK experience. Staff are friendly and helpful, the location is good, nice and quiet, and not too far from the main attractions in Ubud.Unfortunately to be honest the rooms are rough and really need of some proper maintenance. The one we stayed in had flaking paint and mould on the walls and fittings, a leaking toilet, doors that don't close properly due to moisture damage, poor lighting, pillows and a mattress that were well past their service life, and a variety of small things. The garden was pretty overgrown too.It does make up for this with the low price, and I understand that corners need to be cut. I have no problems against simple accommodation and am not expecting luxury, but this seemed to be a fair bit worse than other similarly priced homestays that I have visited in the past.

Beautyfull garden and the Manager was verry helpfull and kind. Get one of the bungalows, if you dont want to hear the people in the next room.

Highly recommended stay in ubud, we stayed here for 2 days and must tell you they are very very very clean and neat. The receptionist is a very good man, very welcoming and helpfull. The rooms are good and they make sure to clean it even if you've forgotten to let them know. The owner is a very known medicine practitioner, very kind and humble. A lovey stay with a lovey people.

One of the best retreat places in Ubud. Seeing the fresh green natural atmosphere of Ubud, cool and quiet, good for solitude, listening to the sounds of nature around you, the birds, frogs, crickets, jeko leaves, the gentle breeze and the aroma of prayer incense. 1 week is enough but next time I want to stay here longer. The rooms are cleaned every day and the facilities are complete according to the description. The staff are friendly and helpful, thank you Astawa house š
