After 4 days in this hostel it's hard to leave. Several activities are being organized which help you get to know the people in the hostel. The staff is friendly, and they make the best cocktails. Thank you!

Such a beautiful hostel in Ubud! Very good location, close to everything you need and monkey forest. Rooms are really nice and big. Beds are very comfortable and spacious, the best hostelroom I have stayed in. Pool and common area is perfect with lots of room for social activities. Staff is incredible and so nice!

I was in Indonesia for 4 weeks, travelled all around. This was my last stay and the worst experience.I thought of choosing something more expensive just as a pampering /good experience for myself as my trip was ending. This was the worst idea.Because all my previous accommodations were much cheaper, much more basic - but the staff and people were soooo good, that their kind attitude made all the difference .This place is extremely fancy in interiors etc, but the staff and services absolutely do not live up to the image they’re trying with so much fluff.Cons-1. Staff doesn’t know anything about local and cultural things. Couldn’t guide/advise on anything other than the packages they themselves sell. The idea of staying at a hostel for me is that I get to know of the area I’m living in via locals and experience the more localised things. The only thing the staff here could say to all my queries was “I am not from here, I’m from Java, I don’t know”The travel info desk outside the property was more of help than the people working inside.2. Horrible tone and attitude. The staff here has some air about themselves and don’t speak warmly, unlike my entire experience of Indonesians and the rest of the country / island.3. Staff doesn’t even knock while entering the dorm for fixing beds etc. They just barge in. Very bad.4. NO HOT WATER IN SHOWERS IN THE EVENINGS.The first evening, I tried tellin the lady at the bar, she in turn responded by telling me the tap turns to the left- as if I didn’t know how to use a shower. When I told her I have already tried and stood and waited but no hot water- she just looks at me blankly- without offering any help or offering to check. Just insinuating that I don’t know how to do it.The second evening- my friend called a guy in to check. He makes me wait for 15 mins, then another 40 , and then says/ sorry it won’t come. You can either take a cold shower or shower tomorrow. I was left aghast.Such fluff and fancy- and they can’t even provide hot showers.5. I was actually happy with the bed and cleaning and was tellingmyself it’s all okay because I’m sleeping in a great bed- the last day of my stay- they don’t even come to dust/clean/make bed. They just let it be as it was from the night before.6. The massage offered is bogus because of the typical timing they’ve set for it. It’s a lure to get you to stay there and pay that much, when in reality the lady only does it mid-day, which normally are hours when you’ll explore the area and place. It shuts before shops shut outside even. So unless you intend on spending your daytime inside your hostel- this service is useless. 8 of my friends I made in the hostel- saying for 3/4 days- no one could actually get a massage .7. Can’t emphasis enough on the attitude of the staff. All places cheaper than this had such warmth and sweetness in the attitude and addressing the guests, that it made up for all small little amenities that are missing .8. No place to hand wet clothes but. Tree hanger outside the room- where nothing dries because the things on all the branches of the rack drip down and don’t allow other things to ever dry. When inquired if there was a line or rope somewhere in the back- “we don’t have any other provisions. That’s all we offer” when I tell them my clothes haven’t dried- “sorry, we don’t offer any other area anywhere on this property “9. You can’t use kitchen or fridge- you can’t even make noodles on stove. Being in a hostel/ I don’t want to spend on every meal., you’re looking for budgeted travel. They don’t even allow me to keep leftovers in the fridge so I can use it later. They essentially force you to purchase everything from their bar/restaurant - which isn’t subsidised rates. So you end up spending a lot more than you already are.

Best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. Staff are super accommodating and always willing to help out, big shoutout to Nata for making my stay so welcoming. Rooms are cleaned regularly, you also get double beds which is unheard of for hostels. Very social atmosphere with activities regularly. Book your next stay here!!

Good place, could be cheaper. Great location away from the worst of Ubud bustle but still very central. Good variety of restaurants within 5 minutes walk. The staff is responsive and nice. Very good and free breakfast. The points of improvement:- cleanliness, bathrooms need more often attention, towels don’t feel fresh even when new.- neither free yoga nor massage are good quality. Masseuse had long nails and only looked like she was working. Ashtanga yoga class that I took was bad. I’d call it maybe a yoga inspired stretching.
