Short review: 7 stars, not enough if only 5 stars.The bottom line: you will not only get excellent service at the level of a premium resort (at a low price), but be prepared to have a new family. We were taken to the temples around Trowulan and the history was explained directly by Mr. Eko.Thank you very much Mr. Eko and Mrs. I hope you always have health and happiness.We will write a complete review after we arrive back from our trip around Java.

It's an honor to have the opportunity to stay here, I think this is the best accommodation in Trowulan, Mojokerto. The owner is very friendly, we not only get comfortable facilities for stopping by but also family, knowledge, new experiences and many positive things that are shared directly by the owner.

Staying at Grha Pawitra Trowulan is not just staying overnight and resting after a long journey to prepare for traveling the next day but more than that, it is an experience that enriches the perspective of history, culture, interior design and architecture which is full of local wisdom from Javanese/Indonesian archipelago from the noble classical period, and which is clearly encouraging. The welcome from Mr. Eko and Mrs. Pulung as the homestay owners along with their friendly and family friendly staff made us feel relaxed and comfortable, as if at home or like the nostalgia of staying at our grandparent's house in a calming typical Javanese house. The next day, when we toured several historical tourist attractions in Trowulan, we weren't too confused because previously Mr. Eko had provided quite a lot of information and we felt on the same wavelength as him when discussing how blessed we are as heirs to the glorious culture of the past from our own ancestors. Really above expectations and of course highly recommended, especially for those who like historical and cultural tourism. Thank you infinitely. Hopefully Grha Pawitra Trowulan will continue to progress and develop.

A very pleasant place not only for tourism but also to find out more about Trowulan, especially Brahu Temple and Gentong Temple.It feels like your own home and family, as Javanese people say, rosone is cool when you enter that house.The owner is very family friendly, can be invited to discuss and exchange ideas about anything, especially life.Thank you, Mr. Eko, for setting aside your rest time to hang out late at night.Thank you Mrs. Eko for a home-style meal that is hard to find.Its really a good place to learn about life, humans, and the culture.Don't expect a 5 star hotel there but feel the warmth of a family and friends.

This place is not an inn or motel in general but a Buddhist prayer place, I have booked and transferred the reservation but when I arrived at the place I was very disappointed with what I saw, instead of the hotel I saw it was a monk who was praying, and the money couldn't be recovered.

Unique & interesting accommodation, because it has a classic theme with a joglo house...the owners Mr. Eko & Mrs. Eko are very friendly and understand the history of Majapahit and pre-Majaapahit, the environment is beautiful and close to historical sites...super delicious breakfast... .
