The whole corner in Bukit Lawang is very idyllic. Lots of views of the jungle and the river.The sounds of the river were calming.There is also seating and a small restaurant at the reception.The juices there were very tasty. And the staff very friendly and helpful.

Both were excellent guides, providing comprehensive explanations and a cheerful demeanor that made the trip an unforgettable experience. They catered to the needs of us and our children and did their job exceptionally well.The food at the restaurant was delicious and always freshly prepared. We especially enjoyed our conversations with Irfan; he was always friendly and attentive.All in all, our stay at the Garden Inn was a wonderful experience that we highly recommend to everyone. In the last half of the upper reaches of the river, you have to ride a motorcycle to carry your luggage., I participated in a 2-day hiking trip in the rainforest. The tour guide was very responsible and I saw many orangutans.

This place is wonderful in all senses: food, service, place and location. It is located in front of the river with beautiful views of the jungle. They serve delicious breakfast every morning but they also serve the best nasi goreng in Indonesia. We booked with Pen a 1 day jungle tracking and the flower with Jonhny and Jerry. They were always very professional, helpful and treated us like family. The rooms are also big and super comfortable. We had an amazing experience! All the staff in the hotel and the village were really welcoming and super nice to us! Thank you everyone!

Thank you for this very beautiful and pleasant stay in Bukit Lawang! The hotel staff was very attentive, very available, especially to arrange the treks and excursions we wanted, even at the last minute!Special mention to Abdi, Rudi and Maruan who were our guides and assistants during the trek in the jungle, who explained lots of things to us about the fauna and flora found there and who were particularly kind.

We had a really nice time at the Garden Inn. Top location, right on the river with a view of the jungle. On our 3-day trek, which we also booked through the accommodation, we were able to see numerous orangutans as well as a variety of other animals and plants. Our guide Yuri was really great and has a lot of knowledge about nature, which he shared with us at every opportunity. We were also provided with more than enough delicious food both on the hike and in the camps. Thanks to Ari at this point! The trek was an absolute highlight of our trip and we can definitely recommend the Garden Inn.

Hotel is just fine. The people are very involved and think along with you. We booked a 3-day jungle trekking from the hotel. Iman and Rudi were our guides. Very nice gentlemen who speak English well. Very involved and interested! They even gave a little personal gift at the end. We enjoyed it!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Garden Inn. The location on the edge of Bukit Lawang directly on the river and yet close to the center is perfect. The complex is close to nature and beautiful with views of the river and the jungle. We also booked our jungle trekking tour through the hotel and it was a complete success. We were able to observe lots of wild animals and learn a lot about the flora and fauna as well as the delicate ecosystem - and of course see the orangutans. It was an impressive experience!There was great delicious local food and the team at Garden Inn are just fantastic.With the short daily power outages and cold showers, you can quickly get used to the atmosphere.If you're looking for nature, you've come to the right place. 100% recommendation!

We also booked the jungle trekking through the Garden Inn and everything went smoothly! The organization was really fabulous, even when we had to leave for the airport early in the morning, it was organized by the Garden Inn team.We had 2 nights in the jungle and it was awesome! Clear recommendation!! Our guides Ahmad and Badshar also made the trek a great experience!
