We were so well looked after by the two young men who run this place. Mistakenly booked for the wrong month and was booked out for the night we wanted to stay. These guys organised us to stay in their friends homestay and still invited us back to the B&B in the morning for a solid breakfast to see us on our way. Great location very near the crater and Senguri viewpoint. Both easily visited from here for travellers not paying extortionate tour prices.

The guys who run the accommodation were very friendly and always responded to our requests with a smile on their faces.The location is very good in Cemoro Lawang, close to the trail that you can take to visit Mount Bromo on your own.The bathroom is typical Southeast Asian, without any separation between the shower and the toilet, so when you shower, everything gets wet.There is a small sink outside the bathroom and the funny thing is that the drain from this sink empties directly into the bathroom floor, so every time you brush your teeth or your hands, the bathroom also floods.Another thing to keep in mind is the constant power outages. It seems like this is common in this town and as soon as the power goes out, they start a generator and within minutes the electricity is back on.In one of these electrical comings and goings, the only outlet in the room, where we had our mobile phones connected and charging, sparked and smoke began to come out of one of our chargers. Fortunately, only the charger was damaged, and not the cell phone.The hot water works well, this is very appreciated, since in this area the atmosphere is cool.Breakfast consists of two sliced bread toasts, an egg, French fries and coffee or tea.

We stayed there to be able to see the sunrise and the mount Bromo and it was very convenient.The room was quite dark, but it was clean and big. There was no AC but it was not needed as it get quite chilly up there. The shower was cold.The staff was very nice and helpful.

Giving 5 stars since some people rate this place terribly low, while the price is superb for the location.Room is clean and spacious. Nothing to complain about like in some reviews.Service is excellent, we had to change around with our booking and it wasn’t a problem at all, even though we cancelled half of our stay VERY last minute.Excellent place for a visit to the wonderful Bromo National Park!

Great hostel, which I recommend. Super large and clean double room. With HOT shower!! The welcome was great, very kind, he gave us lots of information. With very cool breakfast!!

Hotel very well located. Right next door on foot (5min) for the climb to the King Kong Hill viewpoint. Via WhatsApp the person is responsive and offers several transport options to come and leave the hotel. The room is spacious and there is a nice view from the shared balcony but the interior is old and the shower not clean. The water from the sink flows onto the shower floor and we end up with toothpaste on the shower floor which is also the toilet. There was no towel or toilet paper when we arrived. The room price is not expensive but the quality is not good. Could be good value for money for the city.
