*EDIT* NIGHT NO#2 OF EXTREMELY LOUD MUSIC. HAPPENS SO OFTEN.If you want a good night's sleep, don't bother staying here, they play music/ karaoke really loud until nearly 2 or 3am it's ridiculous, and it happens so often too. I've been and come back to bukit lawang and you can even hear it when you stay at hotels down the road too.

I put one star because I can't give 0. The rooms are disgusting (with mold on the ceiling for example, see attached photo). Furthermore, during our stay we were lucky enough to have €130 worth of makeup stolen from our hotel rooms with my friend. Hotel TO AVOID if you want to have a good vacation.

Nice restaurant on the river. Menu is small and simple, but the dishes are very tasty.

Super friendly staff, so sweet and helpful and caring. The rooms are spacious, clean and facilitate a mosquito net around the bed. Bed is comfortable and we’ve slept so many hours. You only have a thin fleece blanket, but you don’t really need it. AC is available.Bathroom is basic and has everything you need. The not so warm showers are helpful to cool down. The food is made fresh and is also adaptable to Western food, although we prefer the Indonesian food and breakfast. The river is in front of the covered terrace and gives shelter for the sun and the rain. You can start from the hotel hiking into the jungle.I would recommend this place if you enjoy nature.

The rooms are nice, the food is delicious and the location is strategic, if you want to walk it's easy and close... but please clean the prayer room again

We enjoyed our stay here before going on our jungle trek. As a family of 4, we really really loved being in the same room. We had AC and bug nets. We woke up to monkeys on our roof, which was a really fun intro to the jungle.Just try not to bring wheeled luggage to this area.

After tubing in the Bahorok River, you will finish in front of this guesthouse. Got a room right in front of the river. Big and clean rooms. 1 queen bed. 1 single bed. Yesterday I got it for 700K. On Sunday. No breakfast, OK?

This hotel is awful in every way. The room that we were given had no hot water, the tap in the sink did not work, there was no air con, it was dirty, it smelled of damp, there was mould everywhere, the bedding was dirty and the only plug …
