It was amazing, the guides were professional and informative. I could not recommend them more. They provided the most amazing experience. They know so much about the place, it was an incredibly insightful trek. And the were just very attentive and so positive and happy despite all the hard work they do daily. We will definitely be back.Thank you again guys for the highlight of our trip!

A great experience. An accommodation "in the middle of the jungle" - away from roads and villages. We were picked up by our hosts and driven about 10 minutes by motorbike through the forest to our accommodation. With only one socket, no permanently installed light (except for two lamps that we were given) and built right at the foot of a small river with a swimming area, you have a great view in the morning. We then hiked through the jungle with our hosts, spent the night there and the next morning we rode on a tire down the river back to the village. We were able to experience orangutans and other monkeys almost up close in their natural surroundings. Super nice, tried very hard to explain everything to us and really funny!Chandra, Yoan and Irwan if you read this: thank you very much for this experience, we will never forget!

We stayed in the junglehut back in january and is was the most wonderful experience! Irwan, the host, was really helpful for whatever we needed. He made breakfast (banana pancake delicious!), diner, snacks... and took us everywhere in the surroundings where we wanted to on his motorbike. The hut is very Nice to stay in! You have to think though of going back to basics, and this is what makes this stay such a Unique place. The rivier in front is great for swimming. The best thing about this place: it is not in Bukit Lawang! It was approximate a 15mins motorbike ride to the hut from Bukit Lawang where Irwan Will pick you up. So let him know when you Will arrive. Because of this remote location you can enjoy the peace of nature. Every day we had Thomas leaf monkeys passing over the hut in the trees, the sound of the river,... I don't think you can find a better place in here!We also did a jungletrek with Irwan and Anuar, he is so good at this and we were able to see so many orang oetan! They make you feel comfortable and make this the best trip ever! I would definitely recommend him for guiding and absolutely stay in the junglehut. Yoan and Irwan became my friends after I stayed with them. I love their ability to work together on various projects, and, of course, I loved the place they created together for tourists to show them a little bit more authentic Indonesia than the one in Bukit Lawang touristy village. The place where they have their hut is (like) a paradise! I really enjoyed swimming there! And, also, Irwan is a great cook and a guide who will find those hidden orangutans for you while making sure you stay safe. And Yoan, she is one of the best organisers I know! Go for this experience, you will not regret!

Welcome to the jungle! I honestly don't know where to begin. Our stay at the jungle hut was a once in a lifetime experience, we just LOVED it! Yoan was great during the booking process and helped us with all the information we needed beforehand. On arrival in Bukit Lawang Irwan was already awaiting us. After a short drive with the motorcycles (15 min.) we finally (because of the long ride from Medan) arrived at the jungle hut and were not disappointed at all. The location is just wonderful, this is such a serene place off the beaten path. The hut itself is small, clean and with a supreme view over the river. The luxury of this place is not the accommodation itself but the whole "package". Irwan and his fellow guide Anouar took such good care of everything! They were always around to help us. We had a great time with them, also during our one night jungle trek, were we saw many animals and of course the famous orang utans, as well as on our trip to Tangkahan (elephant bathing and hot springs). If you come here, please ask Irwan to make his delicious BBQ chicken and fish, it was soooo yummy!! Be prepared for a stay in the jungle, with only limited access to goods of all kind and electricity only at night. All in all this place is what you might call magical!

We stayed in the jungle hut for 3 nights and it was amazing. If you want to escape from hussle in Bukit Lawang just book a room in the hut. We also did an overnight trek in the jungle with Irwan and with his friend and was really good experience for us.||I would higly recommend this place.
