The staying experience was quite surprising. Hi&low is a kind of homestay/inn.I chose room H1.(-)-Small parking-The position of the AC is not right so the one in the room downstairs doesn't work. The room is also very hot during the day.- Residents/guards burn rubbish carelessly, smoke enters the room.-There is no mineral water, even though before checking in I asked and the answer was later this afternoon (after checking in) it would be delivered until check out and nothing was delivered-all corners of the room are really dusty- dirty bathroom showerIt's really mossy right down to the item π- not child friendly because the stairs are steep and the railings are too big(+)- the place is easy to find- 4 towels, shampoo, soap and cutlery are provided- there is a small refrigerator- aesthetic- there is a smart TV and connects to Netflix-lots of plugs

Hunting Hi and Lo has been around for a long time and is well known among Batukaras surfers. Very suitable for those looking for accommodation with a unique interior and far from the hustle and bustle of the crowd. The rooms I stayed in (H2 and H4) were priced at approximately IDR 590,000/room, there was a multi-storey deck/mezzanine with a double bed above the deck and a single bed below. Can accommodate 3-4 people.Strategic bathroom placement, near the room entrance, so it doesn't dirty the room after returning from the beach (sand, etc.). There is also a kind of open room/back terrace that can be used for sunbathing or smoking, or gathering. Other facilities include cold air conditioning and hot showers for bathing. 3 towels are provided and there is a place to put a surf board.The only downside is there is no breakfast, the bed space on the deck/mezzanine is quite warm if you don't turn on the AC (because it is close to the ceiling), the parking lot is relatively small, only fits 3-4 cars (although there is a public parking lot close by). The rest is quite good, especially since the location is not far from the beach (only 3-5 minutes walk).

The rooms, beds and bathrooms are well maintained but unfortunately drinking water or even tissue is not provided in the rooms. There is no restaurant but it is close to a pretty good cafe/restaurant and coffee shop.

Pros: aesthetic & comfortable placeCons: the guard didn't offer to help carry things from the car, there were no tissues, no drinking water, no toothpaste, there wasn't even an electric kettle. Really don't recommend, lots of mosquitoes. If you can choose, it's better to go to Le Pari. The service is very far away

Room H1 is really good, there is a freezer, but if you sleep on the bottom mattress it's a bit hot because it doesn't have AC.

Stayed here room type H.6 by the beach 2nd march 2024, first impression when entering the room was that the room was smelly and damp, I can confirm the smell came from the air duct in the bathroom which was moldy to black. The request to change rooms was not possible because they said it was full and the reason was that the bathroom I was complaining about had already been cleaned. There is no fragrance at all so it gets smellier and damper in the bathroom. You can see the mold from the air duct has spread to the wall.

Wow, this is a really aesthetic hotel for those of you who are going to Batukaras beach. Apart from the rooms being clean and comfortable, the prices are also affordable, you know. The guards are also friendly and very helpful. Basically you have to stay hereπππππ

Comfortable stay, near by the beach. We arrived at Batukaras around 10pm and everything went smoothly. The receptionist helped us to find some restaurants that still open. Our room is quite spacious for 2, we booked for roomNo. 4. In the morning we can easily walk to the beach and grab some morning coffee. Additional + is smart tv where we can netflix and chill all day longπ«
