I went to HTs resort while on a boat trip in the Ments, and it's amazing. The food is great and probably had the best massage of my life. Worth the visit!

Hands down, the best resort in the Ments. The management is beyond awesome, always dialed in to get you on the perfect wave and sorting out anything you need. And the food… absolutely unreal. Epic vibes!

Just a few steps from the room, you can find a beautiful beach, crystal clear water, and world-class waves. There is also a pool, the air conditioning works well, the beds are spacious and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi is excellent. Three meals a day are provided, with a wide variety of Indonesian and Western dishes, and they are all outstandingly delicious! The hosts, Liam and Emma, are always friendly and willing to help you with anything, and Liam will suggest the best place and time for the waves that day, which is very reassuring. The local staff work hard and are all friendly, so it's always a pleasure to talk to them. And yet it's more reasonable than other resorts! What else do you need? The environment here is very relaxing and I really love it. I don't think there are many surf resorts that have it all.I will definitely come back soon!Yuji

Hollow tree's Resort is a spectacular place at Mentawai, their team is prepared to attend you as best as possible. The room is comfortable including a wonderful view in front of the Lances Right spot.

We had an amazing time! The crew, food, resort, boat, etc. was top notch. Emma made all the travel details simple and easy and Liam guided us to the best waves & timing. I highly recommend HT's Resort, you wont be disappointed. Cant wait to come back.

The room is comfortable and the whole structure of the resort is welcoming. All the staff are sensational and attentive. The restaurant menu is varied and the food is top quality. ||Hollow Tree's Resort is a place to go to surf either alone or with familly.

Stopped here because I was curious about the waves....And it turns out that the beach and the waves are really good...well usually the resorts in Mentawai are made private, but here they are made open for the restaurant....The food is quite plentiful and varied, the coffee, juice and food are quite delicious and the prices are definitely far from the usual prices with quite satisfying views...The location of this beach is at the end of Sipora Island and the road access is quite good.Can be done by air via Susi Air and also via fast boat, namely Mentawai Fast.For those who like surfing, this is heaven... you no longer need to use a speedboat to get to the wave location, just swim from the beach.The service at this cafe is quite friendly and it is very comfortable to be in this location.

There is no better option in the ments for accommodation. There will be cheaper options for sure, but the care they take to ensure literally everything with your trip is sorted from inception to your return to Padang is as world class as the wave in front of the resort. The food is good, the staff are amazing, and the trip is worth every minute it takes to get there.

We visited in May and our stay at Hollow Tree was an unforgettable experience. The journey to reach the destination was breathtaking and only added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. The secluded location of the resort made it even more incredible that they were able to provide such outstanding food and accommodations. The entire staff was incredibly outgoing, friendly, and ensured that our stay was nothing short of perfection. The air conditioning was impressively cold, providing a welcome relief from the warm climate, and the waves were truly world-class. If you're thinking about visiting the area, HT's Resort has truly mastered the art of hospitality and this is definitely the place to be.

I recently stayed at HTs resort for the first time and it was the best surf camp I have been to.Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly. Food is awesome.All transfers were covered easily and additional boat trips were also easy to sort out. Sea water quality is also very good!Will be back again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hollow Trees Resort for a surf trip, and it was an incredible experience overall. The waves were perfect, the staff was friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious – both in taste and presentation.However, one area that could use improvement is the quality of the bikes provided. Upgrading them would certainly enhance the overall experience for guests.Despite this minor issue, I highly recommend Hollow Trees Resort for anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable surf vacation.

Great location, excellent facilities, amazing waves and the service staff and owners were lovely and welcoming. The only negatives were the management were quite cold in general and a bit rude on our last day, the boat access to other breaks isn't very quick/easy to organize, and the sea water quality got very dirty on the last few days.

Hollow trees is a beautiful tidy resort in a top class location, beautiful beach outfront with world class waves. Lovely clean rooms with personalised metal water bottles and a water cooler to refill your botte with fresh water throughout the day great idea to reduce plastic waste buying plastic bottles👍All the Indonesian staff at the resort make the resort they are so helpfull and friendly alwise smiling and laughing from the lads helping us load and unload our surfboards everyday, the chef is an absolute legend the food is amazing so tasty, the service from the restaurant staff was brilliant so friendly and meet you with a smile everyday aswell as having the crack and a few games of pool with us 🤙 Surfguide Dani will guide you to the best waves on that given day and time and have serious crack and fun with you throughout your trip .Photographers Kurvin and Andin are absolute legends super friendly and really talented at what they do really happy with the videos and photos thanks guys.The massage lady is really nice and will help your aching surf muscles relax and recover. Managers liam and Emma werent overly friendly and didnt seam to want to make much effort with our group.The resort has kyacks and snorkles for you to use which was great we had a great time with these 👍 they also have scooters you can use whenever you want the brakes on some of the scooters are not very good and dangerous.
