It was like a jungle hut.The resort was pretty so I took some pretty family photos.And Nico and the staff were friendly.However, it was disappointing that there was no refrigerator.

I really my time staying at RNV. Peaceful bungalow experience not too far from main surf point. Friendly family vibes with a comfortable clean space. I would definitely stay again!

Simplicity at it’s finest with comfort and everything available at a moments notice. We came as guests and left as family. The beauty of a island paradise all around you. Nico is a single source for everything with his wife providing beautiful high quality crafts which saved us from hunting around for souvenirs. Thank you and truly love you

RNV Eco Resort is a beautiful jungle oasis with all the comfort you need, super close to the Batukaras surfing break. Nico and Vanessa are wonderful hosts - they will organize scooter rentals, surf lessons, massages and even take you to their favorite seafood place. It's small scale, family-style, relaxed and absolutely perfect for your Batukaras adventure. Highly recommend!

I didn’t know exactly what to expect when I arrived, other than rediscovering the appeal of the magnificent visuals and videos of the posts discovered before leaving… It was ultimately even better! The lodges are sober and at the same time very neat both in terms of decoration and comfort, the setting of the residence (the luxuriance of the jungle with the cocooning of the guest house)... The ideal environment for an OFF Time... surfing for all levels and finally a host of great human quality, present just as needed, with knowledge of the surroundings and our potential needs! Great 5 night stay at RNV eco resort Batukaras. We received a more than warm welcome from Nico and his family. Family atmosphere conducive to meetings. They will always be ready to advise you as best as possible for surfing as well as for life there as well as for the rest of your stay on Java. The place is exceptional both for its location and for the structure itself: impeccable property, very pleasant and tastefully decorated rooms, varied breakfasts... We recommend 100% and we are already thinking of coming back.

It was a great stay with Nico, who took care of EVERYTHING to make our stay unforgettable! A little corner of paradise, and a host who takes great care of us... The rooms are superb, comfortable, the place is quiet and very pretty with a top swimming pool and a very friendly bar ;) The breakfasts are generous and the service is impeccable…Thanks again for making our experience so great! I find this place just like a home. Nico, the owner of this place, is really a friend and head of the family who always there for help. The rooms are clean and quiet, a memorable experience living in the jungles. Neighbors are friendly. Location is good for people riding scooters or bicycles, also within walking distance to the BK main surf point. Right mix of nutrients for breakfast and the Indonesian style rice bowl is tasty.

Super “eco” guest house in an exotic fishing village in Indonesia.Nico and Vanessa, the owners, do everything to ensure that you have a good stay.Ideal place for a relaxing holiday: swimming pool, top bedding, surfing, breakfast with choice and lots of other details to discover, in short we loved it!

I originally booked Nico's place for five stays but ended up extending (and then extending again).The place itself is stunning - set amongst nature but just a few minutes driving from the town's two main surf spots, as well as my favourite restaurants.The bungalow is so calm and tranquil, beautifully designed with the feeling of nature as much inside as it is out.Nico couldn't have done enough to help me out - arranging transport to and from the airport, organising a doctor and coming with me when I got sick, he even showed me round the town and explained the surf spots when I first visited. And anytime I had a question, he had the answer.Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

We spent an unforgettable week with Rose, Nico and Vanessa. The accommodations are very comfortable and functional. The service for breakfasts, which are excellent, and for evening aperitifs, is impeccable. RNV can take care of scooter rental for you, so that you can explore the surrounding area independently. You can also go to the beach, the few shops and the Warung of Batukaras on foot, if you are not too much of a scooter rider.RNV can also organize visits and activities in the surrounding area, as well as your transfers to Jakarta, Banjar, etc.Finally, Vanessa and Nico are very good hosts, and know how to balance presence and discretion. You can count on them to discuss and get advice.Batukaras is truly another world! Looking forward to going back :-)

The change of scenery is total upon arrival. Which is quite normal when you come from France. I've already experienced it elsewhere... But this is the first time that I said to myself that I could stay, settle in with RNV... Everything was perfect, the bungalows are great, the meals incredible, the garden lush and our impeccable hosts, the dream... The village is calm and colorful, the ocean warm and the waves magnificent. TOP !

We loved our stay at the Eco Resort and ended up extending to 3 weeks. The place is a tropical oasis, very quiet, relaxing and everyone goes above and beyond to make the stay unforgettable. Nico and his family are the kindest hosts and helped us with anything we needed during our stay.

We had a great 5 night stay at RNV guesthouse over New Years. Despite this being a very busy period in batukaras, the guesthouse is an oasis of peace and quiet surrounded by lush greenery. Nico was super helpful getting us set up with a motorbike and boards, as well as giving us some other useful tips, including for the best local restaurants which were absolutely incredible. We will definitely be back and recommend anyone to stay here
