The rooms are spacious, there is no smell but there were a lot of mosquitoes. Since the location is very far from the center and other dining venues, unless you rent a scooter, it is very difficult to find a taxi and you have to eat at the hotel. The food was sooooo bad. I don't know if it is because half of it is uncooked and it is not the meal you chose on the menu, but they bring you the food they want or they don't know the dishes on the menu. The rooms are fine as long as you don't eat.

Exceptional stay thanks to great staff. The room was magnificent with a view of the swimming pool. One of the best we've done here. I highly recommend it, you can go for it without hesitation.

We chose this hotel for the location and the supposed tranquility it provided.The first contact was bad, bad access for both car and motorcycle. Once there, the staff was charming and the facilities were passable, the rooms needed a little maintenance but hey, nothing serious.The surprise came at 4:15 in the morning, a mosque “nearby” with mass through a megaphone that makes it impossible to sleep.If you are looking for tranquility, do not go to this hotel, I do not recommend it at all.

A nice hotel in an area that is a bit difficult to access by motorcycle/car.The prices of the services they offer (spa/laundry…) are expensiveThe staff very attentive and friendly.For me, the worst thing about a hotel in a place like this, which seems quiet, is that it has a nearby mosque that plays mass over loudspeakers every morning at 4:00-5:00 AM and the volume is overwhelming, you can't sleep.

The room was clean and the bed was cozy. Nice swimming pool and restaurant (only had breakfast though..). Kind staff.However the way in to get to the hotel was a bit risky. We travelled on scooter, it was better than walking in.. but the road is very rough. Be careful on scooters, as always.Overall, we had not very pleasant experiences in the other hotels on this island before coming here, the hard driving didn't really matter much as the room was very clean and well managed, and it all started with the welcome drink.

Abasan Hill Hotel & Spa is a truly beautiful accommodation, with clean and nicely designed rooms that provide a peaceful atmosphere. The staff is incredibly welcoming and kind, always ready with a smile and eager to make your stay comfortable. Their hospitality is one of the highlights of the experience.However, the location of the hotel presents a significant drawback. The road leading to the property is in very poor condition, making it unsafe to travel around, especially on a scooter. As a family of three with a toddler, we found ourselves feeling trapped and unable to explore the island as we had hoped. This is absolutely not a place I would recommend for families or anyone planning to use a scooter to get around.Edit: I spoke with a local, and they mentioned that road repairs are scheduled to begin next month.To make matters worse, we booked through Airbnb, and the reservation is non-refundable. Unfortunately, the owner didn’t offer any help or solution when we expressed our concerns, which added to our frustration. While the accommodation itself is lovely, the challenges with the location and lack of support from the owner made our stay far from ideal.

It was an amazing experience to stay at the hotel, all the staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was delicious, the pool is wonderful and the place is nice and cozy. you can rent a motorcycle and walks at the hotel. if you need to be looked for from the port it is cheaper to rent it with them. if you make an early excursion they pack your breakfast so you can eat outside. 100% recommended.
