Beautiful views, great service & comfortable beds. I highly recommend Ocean Brothers for your next visit to Nusa ceningan! If you are looking for an affordable, comfortable place, run by three friendly local brothers to stay while you check out all that the Nusa islands have to offer ocean brothers is perfect. I stayed on the top floor with ocean views of the seaweed farms, there’s beautiful crystal clear water to swim in the morning and the beds are super comfortable. There was also a fridge, water tea & coffee in the rooms. Not that we needed it as the staff (3 brothers) were highly attentive and happy to make us coffee, bintangs & soft drinks whenever we wanted. The brothers were also the highlight of our stay, we organised with them to be picked up with our luggage after we arrived by boat and we had a driver waiting for us as we got off. The brothers, especially Lio were super friendly and drove us around on scooters showing us the whole island, the tourist spots and even a couple of secret local spots! The accomodation is perfect, if you are after a comfortable place to sleep while you enjoy snorkeling, beach hopping and checking out the local restaurants.

Save your money because the pictures are nothing like reality here.When we arrived at the hotel, we checked in and went to the room. The bed sheets were covered in yellow and blood stains…To which the man (who is never around) responded with “yeah yeah we sort it later”. We then went out and came back later that day to find that the tap water smells like sewer and the room is full of bugs. The breakfast ladies were the only positive from the hotel experience we had. They are polite and friendly and the breakfast is decent.All of the walls and wood are mouldy and have disgusting marks and stains.There is also never anyone around to ask anything and the walls are not soundproof at all and you hear everything from everyone outside as soon as they wake up. Location was fine.

The location is very beautiful because it is by the seaWe can go down and swim in the sea at high tideIn the afternoon we can join in planting seaweed by boat with the farmerAlthough the pool is small, it is good enough to enjoy the evening atmosphere while swimming

There is no staff around when we get there, we came early to drop our bags off first. The place is quite empty and a bit sloppy. The reception desk is empty, cafe and kitchen are closed. Called the number on google, after some time one staff showed up. I think we're the only ones who checked in today. The positive side is that the bed is big and comfy (quite redeeming), and the linen is clean, hot water, AC and fridge are ok, but no bottled water, no kettle for hot water, shower head needs maintenance. Quite a shame, since if the property had been maintained properly it would've been 5/5.
