I give them one star because you can't do less. This site is old and the photos don't do it justice. The pool is full of chlorine, I went in with a white bikini and came out with the green one and the owner, laughing, told me that it was because the pools had to be chlorinated and that it had been my responsibility to get in, thank goodness I wasn't the girl who He came out with green hair out of the water… they offer you laundry service but you have to pay for it separately and dinner is not cheap either. The rooms are old and the bathroom leaves a lot to be desired, I would not repeat. They didn't give us any solution and on top of that they treated us badly. VERY VERY BAD, quite shabby.

We have checked out of Lumbung today and couldn’t wait to review. This is the real Bali! Locally owned by a wonderful family. Gede, Wayan and Raka made sure our stay was comfortable and everything we needed was supplied - including breakfast. Including breakfast is helpful as it is relatively secluded from eateries. Although being secluded is one of the best parts, they have a complimentary car service to local places (roughly 10 minute drive to delicious spots), so if you feel like escaping you can easily do so. Alternatively it is very cheap to hire a scooter for the day from reception and the roads are quiet enough to ride safely. The pool and mountain views are second to none. You are surrounded by nature so expect what this brings, some insects and lots of animals. Our room was clean and perfect for our stay. For its price point the services are what is expected, basic but plenty enough. If you are expecting the Ritz, travel elsewhere, if you are looking for the BEST authentic Balinese escape - stay at Lumbung Seraya Villa.

Another incredible find!! Family run.Secluded and beautiful, rustic, clean and comfortable. Private too.Views are other level and the pool is great.Food was fresh, hot and tasty and excellent value, as was the room.If I wasn’t on a road trip I’d stay longer.

What a great hotel! Completely surrounded by beautiful nature! You can really relax here. The hotel is exactly as shown in the photos. The pool with the view is really beautiful! I have never swam with such a beautiful view! The price-quality ratio is really very good! The staff is incredibly friendly and they really go the extra mile for you! The food in the restaurant is also highly recommended! The bed is wonderful and the air conditioning is good too! In short, 1000/10 for this hotel! I will recommend it to everyone because it is really worth your money!
