We booked a room for 2 nights, but since we really liked the place, we asked to extend our stay one more night and the staff confirmed the availability for the room. The following morning we left for an excursion at 5.40 am (leaving all our stuff in the roon) where there was no phone signal, later that evening, as we got signal again, we received a text from the "manager" (who we have never seen at the resort or spoken to in person), saying that they made a mistake and they were actually fully booked for the night. That's it, no apologies, no solution offered and no reply from our texts and calls. As it wasn't enough, when we reached the resort to understand the situation (it was 8pm) we found all of our belongings on a table in the restaurant (where they stayed all day, not supervised, so anyone passing by could have stolen something). The only solution offered to us was to leave, because other guests were already staying in our old bedroom and of course the bill to pay, no compensation offered at all. The staff was not prepared at all to handle that kind of situation and the manager was nowhere to be reached.

Perfect location just above Labuan with spectacular views, but with free and very useful pick-up service for the center even in the evening (until 9.30pm). Excellent value for money. Very relaxing before or after a cruise to Komodo or as a base for a day trip highly recommended. Bungalow with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms perfect for a family

The view from breakfast or from the pool at dusk is incredible. The rooms are very refined, the breakfast is very good, you can feel the French attention to detail, well done!

Highly recommended! The location is a bit outside of the hustle and bustle of the town, it’s quiet and has the most beautiful views, a very well cared for garden, pool, very nice and helpful staff members and truly feels like a small paradise! This was the second time we stayed at Villa Domanik and we would definitely come back again. They offer a free flexible shuttle to town and back which is very convenient as other taxi drivers do not know the place very well and it does take about 10-15min to drive to Labuan Bajo’s main street. The breakfasts are very delicious as well with various options you can choose from, fresh fruitplatters and juices, and if you would like to eat there in the evening, you can tell them in advance and they cook a delicious dinner. The wooden cottages all have an outside seating area to watch the garden during the day or the stars at night, and what we really appreciated is that they offer free drinking water - as much as you want - in the room …it’s worth taking your refillable bottle from home ;)

A beautiful hotel above Labuan Bajo! The pool and views are breathtaking. Price performance is perfect and you get a free ride to the village and back again. You can conveniently have food delivered or eat on site. We stayed here for 2 nights and can recommend everyone to stay here for a few more days after a strenuous Komodo tour! Thanks again for everything!
