A somewhat outdated hotel. The location on the beach is quite nice. The rooms are very standard with only some sockets. The Indonesian food in the restaurant was completely ok 👌🏼 Sunset was very beautiful.Garbage in front of the accommodation was hardly cleared away and was very disruptive.

The swimming pool and the beach stunning. That’s it.The rooms are wear off, not very clean (specially the bathroom), full of mosquitoes (surprisingly full compared to other hotels and restaurants in Bali or Bajo) and very expensive. The food is cheap but not so good, the personal is nice and try to help but they speak very little English (just some of them). Also it is isolated a bit, but that could be part of the charm if it would be good.Same hotel with a proper maintenance will be worth the money.

The resort is located protected in a bay 10' from Labuan Bajo airport.I recommend taking the premium bungalows directly facing the beach. They're cute, pretty basic.Overall cleanliness is quite good.Buffet breakfast: there is everything from sweet to savory, too bad the fruit juices are not fresh, but industrial. We also had dinner at Sylvia's restaurant: right portions, not exaggerated and good.

The rooms are a bit old and several bugs were found at night. The breakfast is hard to describe. The location is relatively remote. The advantage is that it faces the beach and you can lie down.

The hotel had some areas where it severely lacked behind. One of the most annoying things was the air-conditioning in the room. At first, we were given a room with a broken air-conditioning unit. It was very noisy, and even after two hours of waiting, it did not cool the room down at all. We raised this issue to the staff, who promised to fix it, which sadly never happened. After two hours of waiting in the heat and being promised twice that someone would come to fix it, I went to the reception to complain. It took four men behind the counter, and many insists from my side, for us to be switched to a second room. In the new room, the air-conditioning was at least working a bit, but still far away from what you would expect. Sadly this stayed the same for our entire stay. It is sad to say, but I can't really talk well about the staff. There were many of them, but it always seemed like they had no Idea how they were supposed to do their job, and everything was disorganized. At some point, we were told that it was impossible to put the restaurant bill on the room, and the next day, a different person told us it was possible. And this also went on for several days. In general, they were not really helpful or particularly friendly to us.We forgot a Jacket at a previous hotel, which they sent to Sylvia Resort for us to take it with us again. But somehow the staff managed to lose this package and put all the blame on us saying they did everything right. Overall, you could say that the staff was a disappointment in any way. Sylvia Resort Komodo is not a place I could recommend, especially with this many alternatives around Labuan Bajo.

This hotel is so well placed, next to a five star, but it lacks decent management and needs some capital investment.  …
