A cute little house right by the sea! The beach is very quiet and you have an incredibly beautiful view of the Rinjani volcano. Really impressive! We saw the sea directly from the room. The landlord Andy is very friendly and nice.Unfortunately, we were the only guests in the accommodation, which meant we didn't feel quite as comfortable. There is nothing far and wide, the nearest supermarket is 25 minutes away by scooter and there are hardly any restaurants. The location on the beach is nice, but you have to be aware that you are off-screen.We were also very concerned about the electricity pole, which is right next to the house, making loud noises and sparking. This could cause a fire on the power line, which of course made us feel even more uncomfortable.Unfortunately, the bathroom is also very dirty, the soap is full of black hairs and the water from the shower smells very bad.It was okay for one night, but for the price it was really expensive for Indonesian standards. Normally we pay around €7-9 per night per person and have much better standards.

The best place in West Sumbawa. It is the only accommodation that is so close to the sea. You sleep listening to the sound of the sea. Andy, the owner, made us feel part of his family. Always attentive to what we needed, he invited us to eat with his family at his house, an awesome experience. I am very happy to have found this place and you, Andy. The room was very comfortable, with a bathroom and shower. Drinking water, coffee, tea and a beautiful terrace from where you can see the Lombok volcano. I thank you with all my heart and I hope that everyone can live the experience.

Stayed 10 days at Bone Puteh Homestay in Sumbawa! Direct beach access, soothing waves at night, stunning sunset views from the terrace. Comfy bed, Sumbawa coffee in-room, and a simple but tasty breakfast (Omelette or Pancakes) in the morning. The bathroom is basic and outdoor (no flush or sink), but excellent value for money. Kudos to Andy, the exceptional host, for adding warmth to the stay.Highly recommend this place for surf enthusiasts!

The best view and location in all of Sumbawa! Rooms were new, firm double bed, a fan and great deck to take in the ocean views and sunsets

Guys I’m amazed with this place, just in front of the beach, incredible sunsets, 2 minutes from the point breaks, and the owner andy is a beautiful human being, they are so warm and welcoming, felt a beautiful local experience, and the surf is great and no crowded.

We planned to stay for 2 nights, and ended up staying for 10! This would be saying enough, but if you really want to know about Bone Puteh Homestay keep reading.If there were more than 5 stars available for the location we would have rated it higher. This place is as close to the ocean as possible without getting wet! Good thing it's on stilts.The local architecture, mainly the creative joinery, is a treat to behold. The place has a simple but charming and elegant feel to it. The rooms are cool and clean, with double beds on a small podium and a wooden cupboard for your things.The terrace however is the main event. Bring a hammock or crash in the bean bag seats and while away the hours with a pitcher of brom (rice wine, available at the warung down the road). Watch the first sun rays hit Rinjani vulcano or hold your breath as the sun sets into the ocean.But just as unique and lovely as the stay, is your host Andi. He welcomed us with open arms and a big heart. Indonesians are always great hosts, but Andi was special. He helped us with our every need and put in the extra effort to make our stay one to remember forever.Make sure to ask him to prepare a fresh fish bbq or bring coconuts from his garden for you. His wife is an amazing chef, and he will serve dinner on the terrace of the homestay at sunset. TRULY AMAZINGMake sure to check out Beach Boy Sunset Warung 100m down the road. The owners Andi (yep, another Andi) and Intang are full of smiles and always happy to prepare your dinner. Try the Pisang goreng with chocolate!Thank you Andi for the amazing stay, we will be back one day!
