Om Blasius and his family are very lovely people, their food is amazing and the view is spectacular, the whole beach only for us. I would come again for sure.

Place for travellers, either you are or you are not... if you are, sleep there at least 2 nights (basic rooms with bed on the floor and bathroom certainly not 5 star) empty yourself, reflect, admire and dream if you are not but you still got there enjoy it but you will regret not waking up alone on a REAL beach with the sea dominating you and the forest protecting you. Blasius, his wife and the staff are wonderful people!

Our stay at Koka beach was a wonderful experience. During the day there are some other tourists on the beach, but in the morning and evening you have it all to yourself. The owners are very helpful and sweet, the food is fresh and tastes good! Sleeping in the beach hut is a special experience, the sanitary facilities are very basic but the beds are spacious and equipped with a mosquito net. Highly recommended to relax here for a few days 🙏🏽

During my 5 nights in Blasius homestay Ioved Blasius and all his family! The food is so simple and so good. The ospitality wonderfull!! I would recommend everyone to stay minimum one night in the Blasisus homestay in order to appreciate them and the magic Koka beach as in other way is impossibile.

Probably the best beach on Isla de Flores, almost without people and with super starry nights. We spent two nights at a beach homestay, they are simple bungalows but with everything you need. Blasius and Serafina are super helpful beautiful people, they helped us with everything we needed and more. The fish that Serafina cooks are a delight. Super recommended to go and live the experience.

Had a great stay! The jamer are very basic, but also very affordable and the location is unbeatable. The people are very sweet and helpful. Mr Blasius went to the village to get us a small message. The beach is beautiful and staying here guarantees a beautiful starry sky, a wonderful morning dip in paradise and wonderful memories.I also read a few sour reviews from people who did not read carefully that it is basic and you have to pay money for access to this (beautiful) beach. Ignore them if you want to combine a little adventure with paradise :)I also read some sour reviews from people who have it

We spent our lunch break here on the way from Maumere to Moni. The food was freshly cooked for us and was very good. The owner was very friendly and gave us avocados from his own garden. After dinner we went to the beach and the sea. It was incredibly beautiful there. Unfortunately we had already booked our next accommodation and had to move on.

You have to pay 20k before you can get to the beach, but it is not cleaned. There is plastic waste everywhere. Some of it has already been burned and you can see the residue of it.The path from the street to the beach is disastrous, but you also have to pay a fee here.The accommodation itself is overpriced considering the simplicity, and not necessarily clean, the "bathroom" was the worst in 2 months in Indonesia.There is only electricity from a loud generator, which fortunately is switched off at some point, but then there is no more electricity.We skipped meals from the start based on the other reviews, so I can't say anything about that.The beach itself was okay apart from the rubbish, but we couldn't get into the water because the waves were too strong.

Wow what a wonderful place. Basic, but therefore also cheap cabins (250,000 for the 4 of us).Restaurant is very cozy. Dinner is delicious. We thought it was worth the price because of the fresh grilled fish.Top experience. We were so happy that we stayed for 2 nights, while the day trippers missed out on much of the magic of staying here...

Blasius and his family are wonderful people.They have a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.Located in one of the most beautiful beaches in Indonesia, I highly recommend you stay here one night on your Flores trip.It’s the only place to stay in Koka beach.You should know that the locals charge 20-30k entrance to the beach.And the road is pretty bad.The rooms are not the the most comfortable (no hot water, mattress on the floor) but if you can adjust yourself to that, you’ll have an amazing evening with a fish dinner that Blasius wife will cook, and a silent morning with all the beach to yourself, no tourists in sight!

We stayed one night at Blasius Homestay.We loved the location right on the beach which is very beautiful. Staying there was a dream, we were the only one on the beach the evening and the morning. I would definitely recommend to stay there for a night, if you are ok with a basic bungalow. Don’t expect a luxury accommodation.But to be honest, for 1 night it is completely fine (even if, I think few things could be improved to make the stay more comfortable like the “bathroom” which was not clean).We had fresh fish for dinner which was very good as well. Blasius and his wife are very kind.

Owners nice but food not good. Instant cheap noodles instead or real mie goreng and old fish instead of fresh barbecued one.
Dont order here take your Sandwich instead.

Blasius and his family are wonderful people who will welcome and pamper you throughout your stay. I recommend calling him directly to reserve bungalows and dinners. Koka beach is the perfect place to relax in a less touristic place of Indonesia. Blasius welcomes tourists every day from various tours who stop for lunch, but if you have freedom of movement, I highly recommend spending a few nights with him. They are certainly very spartan accommodations, but if you love nature and know how to adapt, then you are in the right place. In the evening there will be no tourists apart from you and you can relax looking at the stars after a dinner of freshly caught fish cooked by Blasius himself and his wife.

I highly recommend this homestay and its restaurant. You will sleep in bungalows directly on Koka beach, one of the most beautiful beaches in Flores. Blasius and his family are really nice and will treat you like part of the family, cooking delicious freshly caught grilled fish. If you want to have an authentic experience and relax on a beach away from the crowds, this is the place to be. It is a good spot for snorkeling and Blasius can take you with the boat to a small island in front where there are turtles. It is really worth passing by here on your trip in Flores. Thank you Blasius!

Blasius homestay on Koka beach is amazing! 5 bungalows. In the morning and afternoon when daytrippers are gone you have the beach for yourself. Blasius and his wife serve you all the meals: healthy breakfast (fruit with omelet) and generous portions of fish (tuna)for lunch and dinner. To have dinner by yourself on a quiet beach unther the stars is a great experience! I enjoyed it so much that I spent a week at Koka beach. Highly recommended!

Staying at his place is a wonderful experience, especially after the day trippers left. We took the table on the beach for dinner and later had a beer under the incredible clear sky with so many stars to see. And just birds and the waves. Great!!! Same in the morning before other people show up you have the whole beach for yourself.Only thing not so nice. The bungalows are nicely situated but really could need a bit more comfort and cleaning. It's not particularly dirty but not overly welcoming. And that is a shame.e for such a paradise place and person.
