Had a great experience with Han and his wife Rema, we are a couple staying for 1 night and felt a very warm welcome. We would love to stay longer but we already make plans to go on boat trip. The room was very clean and the air conditioning is fantastic. We stayed in the little cabin/bungalow with an amazing bathroom. Would definitely recommend to travellers for comfortable affordable stay. Thank you Han and Rema

A stone's throw from the port in the middle of a rice field, very quiet with a beautiful panorama.Very welcoming staff with whom you can chat and share stories.Little hidden nugget, a great time here!

Comfortable accommodation, friendly people, good service. This is what all foreign or local tourists and backpackers are looking for. I recommend this place because it is very good and makes you long to come back here again!!! It's a hoax.Terrible treatment from the owner.I booked a double room with bathroom and AC and without prior notice they changed us to a shared room without AC and bathroom outside. He said we were lying even showing him the reservation...We left there and he told us that Booking was not paying him and that is why he would not refund our money.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE.We booked a private room with bathroom and AC through booking. Upon arrival the owner takes us to the triple room with shared bathroom and fan. When we told him that it was not what we had booked, the owner told us that he had given the room to someone else and that if we wanted, we could cancel, but he would not give us our money back. He was a very unpleasant and unfriendly guy.Booking did not allow us to leave a review.

Don’t stay here! Owner/Haan is crazy and dangerous person!We spent one night there. We were planning to spend another night week later. We paid for it directly to the owner and we wrote our names with date to his book. When we came back he said he gave the room to other people because we are too late (we arrived around 9 and we told him we will arrive in the evening, so he knew) and later he said he though we will arrive next day… we are almost sure he gave the room to 3 ladies because they paid more. We paid 100.000 together for AC private room (good price for good room-we cant complain, on booking the price was even 65 one week before). Our arguing finished with owner and other guy punching (not once!) my boyfriend! My boyfriend was lying on the ground and I was screaming. Fortunately some guys came to help us and they hold owner to calmed him down.I am upset we didnt have time to go to police.And one more thing: we rented scooter from him. Vario 125, which we rented multiple times before. But we couldnt climb easy tarmac road with this old version.

The hotel is very cheap and affordable. I'm very sorry that I have to leave a negative review. If I could, I wouldn't even give 1⭐. After booking a hotel, they told me that my room had been rented to someone else and they asked me to share the room with my girlfriend. As a result, I felt very unhappy throughout the journey. Although the boss moved us to another hotel, there were no fans or air conditioners in that hotel, so we couldn't sleep due to the sweltering heat all day.

Abi bungalow and backpacker is the place to stay on lombok, not because of its rooms or its location, but because Haan and his wife do absolutely everything they can to make you happy, and they invite you into their family, and treat you amazingly and generously. Come here because these people deserve it!

A beautiful place that invites you to stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the views are breathtaking. It is in the middle of rice fields just a few steps from the beach. It is quiet and close to the pier which is a great starting point for trips to the Gili Islands. The owners are super friendly and made us feel like a family. They took us on excursions and were also able to arrange some and we also got a cheap and good scooter directly on site. The food and breakfast are great and the hospitality can't be beat. We got fresh coconuts right on our doorstep as well as fresh fruit and vegetables that grow on site. We stayed in a lot of accommodations but I felt very at home here. I can only recommend it to anyone who would like to experience the wonderful hospitality of the locals and is looking for a peaceful, beautiful place to stay.

We only booked here for 2 nights and ended up staying here for 2 weeks. Han (owner) is incredibly friendly and helpful. You can rent scooters and book tours right here. From here you can also easily go on day trips to the Gilli Islands for just 18,000 IDR, the equivalent of €1. There are also incredibly beautiful waterfalls to admire here.I love this place it feels so much like home.
