An exceptional stay with Made and his family. A charming place, with a view of the rice fields and close to the center of Ubud. Made is an excellent host, and driver/guide who will show you the beautiful island of Bali. Always helpful and attentive. I recommend 100% and I would come back. Thanks for everything.

We had 4 days and 3 nights at Bonato home. A very quiet, cozy place full of family affection.Made and his family are very friendly, approachable and enthusiastically helped us. We experienced living like locals.Made is also a good driver, he took us to visit famous places in Ubud.We will return to Bonato home on our next trip to Bali.Thank you very much Made and family!Highly recommended!!!

We spent 8 nights at Made and his wonderful family. We lived in the two houses by the pool. The houses were very clean, the bed was made every day, the towels weren't changed, but that's not a problem for us. On request you get everything you need. The view of the rice fields and nature is amazing.We didn't see Made very often, but his family were lovely and very warm. The driver Agung was always willing to drive us to any destination. In addition, he was extremely helpful after I had problems with my knee from an injury.We highly recommend staying in Ubud at Bonato Home. 😃👍Little hint:- The place is not in the center of Ubud and walking is a bit difficult as there are no sidewalks.Thanks again to Made and his wonderful family for this stay!

We had a very nice stay at Bonato home. The 2 rooms are large and clean. The breakfast was simple, but good. The property is beautiful and set amongst the rice fields, so some insects are to be expected. Made and his family are great hosts. We hired Made to take us on 2 day tours in his vehicle. We had a great time exploring with him and learning about Balinese culture. Location is a bit out of center, so you'll likely want to take Grab or Gojek into Ubud center. Mana is a great little restaurant 5 mins walk away. Thank you again, Made and family.

Undoubtedly, Bonato home is the best guest house in Ubud and Made - the most sophisticated host in Bali! The hosts make you feel very relaxed and really care for your well beeing!The place is sparkling clean and built with attention to the smallest detail. Hi everyone,There is not much to say about the house except that it is fabulous exactly like you can see it on pictures and providing all the privicy you need.However, we would like to talk to anyone considering this airbnb about the incredible experience with the host Made and his family; very warm, welcoming and everything you can feel and experience with the authententic balinese culture, manners and values.The moment we arrived, we were able to check in at an accomodating time (before check in) considering we were in the hectic city of seminiyak (feeling absolutely tired+ My friend had the flue and Made (the host) and his family were really caring).Made and his family opened their door with a wide smile and beautiful heart.He was our host, guide and became now a friend. We loved staying at his family house and most of all enjoyed their company.Not only we recommend to stay in bonato home, we also highly encourage you to choose him as a guide if you are not only looking for someone who will drive you around to visit the beautiful places in ubud but also learn and hear wonderful stories related to their religion, culture, and lifestyle.There is no doubt that we left ubud with a wonderful smile and a heart full of love for the balinese and their heritage.Thank you Made.Ilham, Nada and Adiba

If you want to stay in a very beautiful place (facing a field of rice fields, beautiful garden with swimming pool), comfortable (super bedding with mosquito net), quiet but close to the hustle and bustle of tourism in the center of Ubud (a few minutes by scooter rental on site), but especially if you are looking for adorable, authentic, open, attentive people who can help you immerse yourself in the local culture (Made gives very good advice, he can even organize your activities for you demand is its basic job), like us, you will surely not be disappointed! The rather central location on the island is perfect for discovering the landscapes by scooter (don't forget your international license and plan a short day to adapt to "local" driving).

We had a wonderful 10 days with Made and her family. The room was very clean, very charming and we had a view of the rice fields. Made will be happy to share with you all the fruits that abound in her garden. He listens and immediately puts us at ease. We shared very good times with him and his family which allowed us to really discover the Balinese culture and way of life. He also gave us the chance to attend ceremonies organized by his family. Made, who is also a guide, will always make himself available to help you discover his island. We absolutely do not regret having stayed 10 days in the same place, which allowed us to create real bonds with him and his family. We 100% recommend this Airbnb for those looking for a true immersion in a homestay. Thank you Made for your kindness and generosity, we hope to see you soon...

Exceptional and unimaginable place. Away from the road you can't believe a place like this exists. The room is spacious, the semi-open shower has a wow effect.The swimming pool is superb. We were lucky enough to be the only guests during our 5 nights.You should think about taking a scooter or a taxi to reach the center of Ubud. Count 70 thousand rupees.
