We stayed at Casa Casbah for 5 nights last month. WOW what I find, loved everything about it. The Villa was beautiful, exactly as shown in the photos The location was great, close to Old Mans, The Lawn and the beach just 50m down the road. At first we had concerns about noise from nearby bars, but this wasn't a problem at all. The villa was perfect, had a massive grassed area, great pool area, all the bedrooms were modern, large and very clean. We were 8 adults and our 18mth granddaughter in our group. Bonus was a portacot and high chair were available to use. Dita and the staff at the villa were wonderful, very helpful. Thanks again to Sean for all the prompt communication when booking. We had the best time, I would highly recommend. We will definitely be back

Location is GREAT! Being next to Old Man’s I thought the music would be too loud. But we all slept well. Right by beach & really cute villa. Would love to stay here again!

Great Villa! The location couldn’t be better. Great restaurants right across the street. If you surf, you walk out, walk about 100m, grab a board from the rental booths, and you are surfing. It’s so easy. The house is clean and has everything. Great staff, very recommended!

If you want to sleep before 3am, DO NOT BOOK THIS VILLA. As all the other reviews say, Casa Casbah is a stunning villa with lush green gardens and large grounds and a refreshing pool, and the villa staff are polite albeit inexperienced - but none of this matters when you CANNOT SLEEP or ENJOY the villa due to NOISE LEVELS from OUTDOOR NIGHTCLUBS with LIVE BANDS and DJs from 6pm to 2.30am; the noise is completely UNBEARABLE! For full transparency we did read there would be 'noise from surrounding temples and bars' but to compare the gentle noise of Balinese temples with the noise of a ticketed LIVE OUTDOOR ROCK BAND and party revellers; PLUS a SECOND OUTDOOR BAR with woofer/ base BOTH RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the villa is not only ridiculous but completely misleading.We booked very clearly as a family of 9 - including 4 children under 10, and an elderly grandparent - we were obviously not there to party - that was clear; so to not be warned that we were LITERALLY RIGHT NEXT DOOR to TWO very popular and frequented LOUD nightclubs that do not close until 2-3am EVERY NIGHT is completely unacceptable. We could not sleep for 2 nights, waiting for the nightclubs to close - the noise comes right through the walls, even with Bose noise cancelling headphones and all doors and windows shut the base vibrates through the floors - we recorded 70+decibels in the bedrooms with doors closed at 1am in the morning.Even though we were refused a refund by the owner, after requesting an early check out - we could not stay another night with this level of noise - so we cancelled our stay at a huge loss and inconvenience, and found other accommodation that allowed us the simple luxury of sleep.Sleep is the most precious commodity – when it is taken away from you on holiday it doesn’t matter how pretty a villa is or how lush the garden is or how beautiful the pool is - if you want to sleep on your next holiday to Bali do not book Casa Casbah.
