Wayan and Epi are excellent hosts, they were very helpful in organizing surfing and airport shuttles. Candra is a relaxing place to stay with a nice quiet courtyard with lots of shade to relax in. Thank you!

Wonderful place to stay! The whole family are so sweet and helpful. The room is nice and in a great location. Would recommend if you are on a budget but looking for somewhere comfortable and super clean.

I stay in this place for a year and half now during covid and having my own business build here. Epi and Wayan are very nice people that helped me a lot during the hard time. It is a nice homestay, very safe and quiet, as the wifi password said, this is a happy candra family, I will miss the years living here and I hope more of you people choose to stay with them .

I had great stay. Epi and Wayan really looked after me. Very comfortable, well equipped with great facilities in the room like AC and good WiFi plus all the things you need in the share kitchen to make your own meal or even free coffee and drinking water in kitchen. Perfect location close to popular restaurants and market. This homestay offers u original Balinese vibe. Definitely value for money.

My stay at Candra Surf homestay was just excellent!! I felt home since day one. The accommodation is just perfect, great located very close from everything but at the same time, in a quiet area.The family is welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this place to everyone!!

Very friendly and helpful owners. Always ready to help in any matter. I rented an economy room for a month. There is everything you need, a pleasant environment. Of the minuses: there is no hot water (in this particular room) and, as for me, there is a very small window, so the room is dark during the day. And I'm a lover of light. Therefore 4 stars.

Spent 10 days here and loved it! I felt like home, it was like having my own little bubble of peace and wish I could have stayed longer. Spacious rooms, quiet area at night and buzzing during the day. The owners, Epi and Wayan are super kind (like 99.9% of Balinese!) and their kids are adorable. This place suits quiet people.

This is a lovely place with a very good atmosphere.The rooms are clean, with great facilities like A/C and hot water.The host family, Epi Wayan and their 2 girls Candra & Dhea are wonderful people. They welcomed us as part of their family and we really felt at home.A shared kitchen is available with a gas stove, fridge, microwave, blender... it's really complete. For breakfast you'll find complimentary coffee, tea, and hot/cold filtered water.You can also use the washing machine, you just need to buy the detergent.They also provide scooter rental options, taxi pick up to travel around or go to the airport, and of course excellent surf lessons.Wayan is a very experienced teacher (more than 10 years teaching) and I felt very safe while taking my first lessons. It was great fun.We loved the area, it's quiet, not on the main road, but still a with lot of restaurants, the yoga shala Samadi is really close (2-min walk), and the beach is 5 min away (on scooter).Overall I loved the place and would definitely come back!

Super sweet family running the place. Always clean and well kept. They keep making improvements so the place looks better/is more functional every time I come back. Spacious balcony so I have room to work out/yoga in the mornings with a lovely breeze. Good curtains for blocking out sunlight. Across from a lovely yoga shala and restaurant which also runs a farmer’s market on the weekends. Def recommend.
