Wonderful stay, friendly English speaking family! It was very nice to share culture and food with this family. They are great hosts and very helpful even driving us to our next destination with stops along the way. There is a beautiful cactus garden and it’s a clean historic building that feels like home. The location is great / walkable and just next door to a good cafe. Look forward to meeting again

Absolutely amazing place. We always want to meet in travel some beautiful people, to get know other traditions and old history. This is exactly the place. Perfect English and real undoubtful hospitality, old Dutch house wt 4meter ceillings, wooden floors and delicious breakfasts. I was tend to stay in Sawahlunto only one night but ended up staying three, and I would stay more.Highest recommendation

Super friendly, hospitable people who like to tell you about the history of the city. Room large and nice. Two communal bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. Lots to do in the area, host can help you get started.
