We had a power outage on our first night, water stopped working on our second night when we arrived back from touring Ubud - missed our dinner reservation because of this. Room curtains were dirty and stained.Also had the owner come into the villa, unannounced, while we were in the pool on our first night to tell us about noise restrictions after 10pm (we are all fully grown adults btw that can read house rules lol). Which was quite rude considering we had no idea who she was. This could have easily been sent in a message via the villa managerTo top things off, we wanted to pay to extend our stay since we had a late flight. The villa manager (Arthur) lied and told us it had been booked at the last minute (not the case because it was still available online) and when we caught him out on his lie, he just ghosted us and left us on seen lol unprofessional to say the leastThe two stars are specifically for the house keeper Julius, who was a pleasure to deal with. Other than that, I would probably avoid this villa and opt for something closer to Canggu with better value for money, a more professional management team and owners that don’t barge in on their guests :)

The community of Baliwood is awesome! I just loved it. Rebecca is a fantastic host and a very nice person, so easy to communicate with and gives good advices about outdoor activities and restaurants. The villa is very clean and the cleaning staff are nice and respectful. The people in the community are fantastic especially Sebra and not to forget Jooj, the beautiful cat 😍 Can’t wait to come again in your villa ❤️ Kisses from Switzerland 😘

This place is AMAZING! I booked because I liked the design then when I arrived it was so much more. The hosts are incredible! Greeting me personally and showing me to the room then around the villa. The area is quiet even though there was construction I still managed a nap midday. The glass must be thicker or something. The amenities are top quality and the staff very attentive. Couldn't fault anything.Note that there is a quick shortcut road directly into Pererenan Road and all the cafés. I walked most of the time to St Ali taking maybe 5 minutes and by bike to Shelter for dinner was less than 5 minutes
