We came for the second time to The Menjangan; this time we stayed in a beach villa. We enjoyed it so much: the quietness, the beauty of nature, and the kindness of the staff: thank you so much! You made us feel so welcome again. …

We came to visit the Bali Tower. The building is quite incredible, if you like wood you need to see this. It even felt like Jurassic Park. The view is absolutely fantastic from the top.The only down point, but quite an important one, is that the prices are unreasonably high for what it is, esp. the food (a nasi goreng fur 200k) and the taxes are added to your already too high bill.

This place is wonderful! The nature, the rooms, the food and what we found being the best is the staff's kindness and top-notch customer service!I accidentally booked a room for the wrong month, and only realized after wrongly thinking the resort didn't send someone to pick us up as per per our agreement.Since it was non-refundable and our own mistake, they weren't obliged to do anything to save the matter. However, they still offered and managed to organize our pick up in 10 minutes from Denpasar's airport, still gave us a room and welcomed us with the friendliest smiles ever.We only regret not staying longer. It is truly a beautiful resort within a natural park where their passion for taking care of the nature and wildlife is evident. We booked a trek through the park and learned more than we ever did on similar walks. The breakfast and lunch we had there were both delicious!Biggest thanks to the entire team!

Great choice to explore the Menjangan area. The resort is wide-spread but a fancy shuttle reminding of a Safari with seats on top of the roof-makes distances short. There is a good choice of restaurants for breakfast and dinner and the Bali Tower invites for a sun downer to watch the sunset. Do some snorkeling or get a massage overlooking the sea. Staff is very attentive and friendly. Monkeys and dear will entertain your stay. Prices at the restaurants are over the top and it is not too easy to get out...but besides that, with the extra dollar on the side, you will enjoy a remarkable stay. Recommended 👌

once you enter the hotel complex you are in a golden cage… There is no real beach (mangrove) and the activities are all paid (and expensive! €120 for 3.5 hours by boat to snorkel, no better than on the edge of the pontoon). …

One of our most beautiful accommodations in Bali. Great location in the national park. Large clean and modern rooms. Delicious food. Wide range of activities. Nice pool. Very friendly service. Simply great. Prices are at European level, but they match the level offered.

For some reason there is a broken road in the area! There is no information on the booking service that you need to pay 200 K per person to enter the park, which is not included in the room price. This came as an unpleasant surprise. The staff is polite. Great snorkeling from the pier. You just need to swim 50 meters to the right from where a series of beautiful corals begins. Nice clean beach. The ocean is high from morning to 15:00. Then the tide begins to ebb. It's calm on the ocean near the beach in the morning. You can swim without fear. But you shouldn’t go far from the shore because... sea urchins begin to appear. There are many monkeys, deer, squirrels, chickens and birds in the park. There is a stable. Breakfasts are for everyone. It's like that all over the island. They will deliver you to any location within the park using their transport. Just order. The closest civilization from the hotel is 6.6 km to the right when leaving the forest. In the town there are shops with wine from 180 k, beer, chips. You can buy fruit (small choice). There are ATMs 10 km from the hotel. There are no exchangers. There are cafes that are clean and have a normal inexpensive menu.

As it was far from the airport and we were traveling in the evening, our guide chose a route along the coast as mountain roads would be dangerous after dark, but it took us 5 and a half hours, even if we stopped at a …

A nice hotel in itself, we stayed in both a deluxe room and a beach villa. Both rooms were very nice, although the beach villa was of course even more special. Both rooms were very clean and nicely decorated and had fruits and cookies available as a welcome. The deluxe room was a bit louder, especially in the morning, because you could hear guests passing by and, above all, suitcases rolling through the wooden terrace outside the rooms. The villa, on the other hand, was very quiet and apart from the waves and the cute geckos you didn't hear anything. There are many different animals in the national park, especially monkeys and deer, which was very nice to observe. What we liked best was the coral reef on the jetty. We went snorkeling every day and saw lots of puffer fish, moray eels and once a turtle. The a la carte breakfast was good. There are two restaurants that are part of the hotel, the Bali Tower and the Pantai. We personally liked the Pantai better, the portions were larger and we also liked it better.I deducted one star because of the dinner, which was quite expensive for Indonesian standards (e.g. 130,000 for a Margherita pizza + 10% service charge + 11% tax). That in itself wouldn't have been so bad if the pizza had been at least good/normal, but in many places it had neither sauce nor cheese (picture follows). The incident with the pizza happened in the Bali Tower and when the waiter noticed that I wasn't that happy, he immediately tried to make me happy again with a new pizza with a little more toppings and a discount. In general, the staff was super friendly, attentive and always tried to help. All in all, an exciting experience and a completely different side to the otherwise crowded Bali.
