Hotel Seganti Sengguan, Pagar AlamFor the first time setting foot there on 4 MAY 2023, the atmosphere was very pleasant because the hotel is located in the middle of the Gunung Dempo Tea Plantation, Pagar Alam.Initially I booked a Hotel VIP Room, after I checked and made sure the room was very far from my expectations at that time plus there was a leak from the Westafel, the view was only a view of Pagar Alam City, not a tea garden, so I decided to go up to the VVIP Room class.Coincidentally at that time, I got a VVIP Hotel Room on the 2nd Floor, Room 207, after checking the room was large, large spring bed, there was an LED TV, AC, there was an Al-Qur'an prayer mat (for Muslims), wardrobe, sofa and table, Water Heater, Mineral Water and Sachetan Coffee. The bathroom itself is very large and spacious, has a sitting toilet and sink inside, there is a warm water heater for bathing. For the VVIP room class, the room is very satisfying, especially since behind the window there is a large area of the Mount Dempo Tea Plantation which is very pleasing to the eye and can cure fatigue during the trip to Pagar Alam City. Not to mention the cool mountain air of the Mount Dempo Tea Garden. VVIP Hotel Rooms include Breakfast for 2 people only, VVIP Rooms are highly recommended👍👍But apart from positive values, there are also negative values, in my opinion, you have to maintain the cleanliness of the surrounding environment, the condition of the hotel needs to be rejuvenated and repainted, maybe if the wall paint is peeling, it needs to be repainted and repaired immediately, if the hotel room itself has to be cleaned really clean. what needs to be changed, like the bed sheets and cover and bolsters, for the bathroom, please fill in bath soap because on the first day of stay there was no bath soap (special note), and give room freshener so it's more comfortable and doesn't smell. As for the breakfast menu, in my opinion, it's not really worth it, especially in the class of a VVIP room hotel with the price per night, when I stayed 2 nights, the hotel was as long as the class VVIP room. For one VVIP room per night at a price of 600 thousand/night, the first day breakfast was fried rice and fried egg and 2 cups of mineral water and what was very disappointing, breakfast on the second day was only Indomie fried noodles (VERY not worth it at all). Moreover, for a very expensive overnight stay, a buffet meal with various menu options should be provided, if the guest is out they are provided with boxed rice, the menu of which is comparable to the price of overnight accommodation. This is my input and suggestion. Hopefully in the future it can be improved quickly so that people who visit and stay there feel very satisfied when they return to their homes and have plans to go there again (make the best impression on their customers). For VVIP room prices, don't lower it to 600 thousand/night, if possible it can be below 500 thousand/night, other services such as replacing the sheets with new ones as well as pillowcases and bolsters, because when I arrived it smelled like dust (once again this is just constructive criticism for the hotel Moreover, the location is very strategic in the middle of the Tea Gardens which should be excellent), bedroom and bathroom services must always be checked and always cleaned whether there are customers staying there or not (Hospitality SOP Standards). Check the bathroom for soap, towels, etc. The cleanliness of the bathroom must be maintained, provide freshener so that customers are comfortable and feel at home in each of the rooms provided, the walls both inside the hotel room and outside the room must be completely checked for any peeling putty. and repaint, if the paint color has faded, it must be repainted. The Seganti Hotel has been renovated, it is neat, beautiful, clean, fragrant. There are sure to be lots of visitors who come and one day they will come back. Prices may be expensive but they must be balanced with the best services for customers so that customers end their holiday happy and feeling satisfied and happy.
