Noby Gili Cottages

Terrible experience here! We booked months in advance for two rooms and when we arrived apparently there was only one available even though we had literally messaged the property the day before to ask about check in for the two rooms. When we got there NO ONE from Noby was around, only the guy from Meno Turtle which is on front (there's also no signs for Noby and it's right behind Meno turtle but we did not know this so it took ages to find it). In the heat with backpacks it is not good. The guy from Meno turtle could not understand why there wasn't another room and he did not speak very good English or wanted to even try and help so we waited for hours for him to keep calling Noby with no answer. When he finally got through, we were told one couple would be in Meno turtles and one would be in Noby as there was only one room available in Noby. Wasn't too much of an issue for us, but then became an issue as they refused to let us all have breakfast together even though we booked the same property with breakfast. The two we were with had to go to another place whilst we stayed at Noby. The breakfast was terrible, mushy and soggy pancakes with a grunt from the guy, everything we asked for was hard work and we felt like we were not welcome at all. Then after we came back after a morning in the sun, we were ready to cool down in the rooms but Noby property had no electricity or no running water!!!!! Once again, no one around in Noby to ask or communicate with to help us. We are understanding people and wouldn't have been too upset if they tried to help but no one cared at all. The only guy around was from Meno turtles and all he said was 'i don't know' everytime we asked for some help. How can you call this a property fit for people paying when there is no electricity or running water?!!!!!! We finally managed to get through on message to the people at Noby and it was resolved on the evening but it ruined the afternoon that we spent trying to get it sorted. Absolutely appalling and I am so angry we spent money here to go to people who just do not care about their guests or even making their property adequate to have people stay in. Do NOT stay here !!!!The only decent thing about it all was that the rooms looked nice. But it is not worth the hassle and difficulties we had. These people are just after money and do not care !!! I would give 0 stars if I could.

owner was a friendly guy & his bungalows are nice. wi-fi, fridge, free delicious breakfast options, ac & bungalow are spacious. reasonable pricing & just a short walk from the harbor. recommended.

Really nice place, nice staff and good breakfast. Although they have a schedule for it, it was posible yo take It later because my stomach wasn't enough good and they provided me at time I asked it. The room was okey, not super clean in some parts with dust but in general it is a 9 for me. AC is good working, bathroom perfect and the garden also nice. I will recommend that place, 5 minutes from harbour and 20 minutes to the other side.

Rooms, breakfast, location, people, everything was good

In the center of the island, the cabins are correct and the breakfast is very delicious. He valued the attention and concern of the staff very positively (we had a medical problem and they made everything much easier for us).
